Does the job and doesn't pinch
I like how easy the handle is and how sturdy it feels in my hands. I have arthritis in my hands and in the mornings, I have a severe case of "the dropsies" so I was curious how I'd be able to handle clamping my eyelashes in this device without ripping them out. So far, so good! =D It is pretty - but I don't care about looks - function before fashion! It works just great. I don't get too close to the lash base (that would hurt and possibly pull the lashes out), maybe around the middle? Don't use heat either - I just put on my eye cream and press this mid-lash, hold for a few seconds, and bam. Lashes are ready for the mascara. The curling holds, too, doesn't seem to make the lashes straighten back out during the day (or maybe it's the mascara I use).

Good eyelash curler
This is a nice eyelash curler and surprisingly sturdy for how inexpensive it is. I have a hard time positioning it just right, and struggle to not get it too close to my skin where it pinched. I’m not sure what’s different about it. But other than that, it works great and seems like it should hold up for a long time.

overall great!
this product works really well, this is my first eyelash curler so i’m not really sure if others are different but it seems well made and to work well. it does seem kinda flimsy and i’m always cautious to not push too hard, but other than that it works great!

Gentle on lashes
This is my 1st eyelash curler ever. I was always scared of ripping out my lashes. This curler is perfect. It's very gentle and easy to use. Great value for money and sturdy product. I am beyond pleased

Works well.
After years of using the standard Maybelline eyelash curler, I decided to look for something that will work better for me. The mechanics of any curler are pretty much the same (except for heated ones), it's the handle that caused my problem. The hinge angle of most curlers hits my cheek and doesn't let me clamp my lashes at the right angle. I can't get close enough to the base of my lashes to do a good job. This curler design works well for my face, and lets me grip and curl easily. A+. It's not a sturdy thing, feels more plastic than metal, so I'll have to reserve judgement on how well it holds up.

Missing bag
So the curler seems nice, though I don't have that much experience with lash curlers. However, seeing as there's little pieces that can easily be lost, I was really bummed to discover that my order was missing the fleece bag. I'd be more than willing to change my rating if a bag was sent.

works great for the low price
I have never used replacement pads for an eye lash curler before, but it's helpful that they've included a few. Works well. I am a light make up wearer, so not everyday use, but I imagine it would hold up well with more use too.

Disappointed :(
Normally not one to write reviews but HOLY heck. Pinched my eyelid every. single. time. I read the reviews and thought it would be great. The quality feels nice but there is something on mine that snags my eyelid every use. I’ve never experienced this with an eyelash curler before. It also pulled out a few lashes! Maybe something was wrong with mine? Maybe I have weird eyelids? Who knows. All I know is this curler went in the trash where mine belongs. Update Oct 2012: Left permanent scar on my eyelid.
