Nice, but couldn't play some of my DVDs initially.
This product seems fine. It has some features like it can rip a CD directly to an attached USB stick which is a neat trick. It has both av out to drive an external screen and an av in, which I didn't test. It comes with a cord to do that. It doesn't come with any TV antenna and the antenna jack sticks out. I had a problem that it could only play some of my DVDs. It would play Footloose, but not Tomb Raider. It would be slow to load and then have a jerky display. I'm not sure that is because my unit is defective. I don't see any other reviews indicating it can only play some commercially produced DVDs. Otherwise, it seemed to be a very cool inexpensive product that I would have liked to keep, but I am returning it because it can't play a lot of my DVD collection.Update: after testing the next day, it began to work on my DVD's. The sticking gradually went away until it could play all of my DVD's. There must have been something that needed to get exercised in order to playback all DVDs. It seems fine now.Other points that I noticed was that the volume when playing DVDs is not very loud. You may need to attach an external amplified speaker if you are in a noisy environment. It plays CD's louder. It is certainly a lot smaller and lighter than lugging around a full size laptop.

Works Great
I got this for listening to CDs because my old CD player died, and also for a TV source if the power goes out during a storm. It's been working great for those functions. The sound is a little tinny so I took off one star for that, but I'm still happy with this unit.

Good TV bad battery pack
I use this intermittently- camping, power outages. Unfortunately for some unknown reason the battery pack swelled and popped open the compartment cover. It was taking a charge fine and the charge indicator light is working. Not sure if I got a lemon - or not

IF You live in Mexico, you will love this unit. If not, it's not for you!!
I was totally disappointed with this DVD/TV player. I could not scan any of my local channels, because it was set only for Mexico. I sent it back to Amazon for a refund. Amazon was wonderful NO QUESTIONS asked.

Good little DVD/TV player.
So far the only thing I've used is the DVD player. Haven't used the TV tuner, SD or USB so I can't comment on those. The DVD player is actually pretty good. I was surprised. The picture is excellent, sound is good, controls are simple and decent battery life. I don't know why a remote is included. The screen size means the thing is sitting on your lap and the marking on the remote are to small to read. One negative is the DVD player is a bit noisy but with the sound up or external speakers it's not a problem.

it works great for the DVD
I can only get 2 or 3 channels in clearly. But, I live quite a ways from most stations. But the DVD works excellently. I have some problems with the remote when I try to change channels but, again, it works great for the DVD. I have recommended it to a few friends who would just like to pull in a local station for the area news. Having gotten rid of our cable connections, we are learning other methods of media entertainment.

You Won't Regret Buying the SuperSonic TV/DVR
This combination TV/DVD player met my expectations, and more. The picture quality is excellent. The antenna is not as powerful as it could be, though. I use an antenna I already had in the house with the television and it brought in many more channels. The DVD player plays smoothly, no skips or hesitations. I have not had a single issue with it. The picture quality is excellent when playing the DVD, just as it was with the relevision. The remote control is tiny but powerful - it can do a myriad of functions. I purchased this TV/DVD player on sale and it is worth every penny I paid for it. I highly recommend purchasing it.

What do all the abbreviations mean?
The antenna could've been longer. An apt, or full meaning of abbreviations could only ensure the success of this product.
