I was looking for something like this after using a couple of similar cases with my ZTE Axon 7. With that phone, a Proworx case protected it well, and saved at least the corners from a 5' fall onto concrete.This case is clear, with soft rubbery TPU around the edges and a hard back. I like that it isn't too bulky, it has a slight lip on top that protects the screen, and has just enough thickness on the back to protect the protruding camera a bit. The cutouts are correctly sized and placed, and the power and volume buttons are the easiest to press of any case of this type I've tried. The sides are slightly easier for me to grip than the bare phone. Not fancy but I see no problems with it. Recommended for anyone who wants something simple and slim, cheap, and protective.

I specifically bought this case because the original case that Xiaomi sent with my phone didn't protect the outer camera bump. This case achieves this perfectly, however, there is one flaw in the case. The design of the volume and power buttons on the case make it extremely easy to accidentally press one of the buttons. This has led to many irritating moments where I hold the phone in my hand and accidentally restart the phone. Other cases I use don't have this issue so I know its the design of the case that leads to this issue.

Case works well however the power button and the volume rocker come off and hits really hard topress the buttons if you loose them.

Great case for the redmi note 7. The buttons aren't stiff, they are easy to press. The back is thick enough so the camera hump isn't sitting on the table when you put it down, and there is a lip on the front as well so if you put it screen down it's not on the screen. Great case!
