Works for Ruger 10/22
I wanted to add a bipod to my Ruger 10/22 with synthetic stock. After watching some YouTube videos I decided to give it a try.The HARRIS bipod adapter #2 went in without stock modification.Works with great with my Cvlife bipod.Good product with a good price.

Good product, but won't fit a Ruger 10/22 composite stock without additional work.
The product itself is well made and a good idea.Someone else had stated that they used it unmodified in a Ruger 10/22 rifle with a composite stock. Unfortunately after drilling a hole through the stock and attempting to use this product, I found out that this is not correct. The metal receiver/flange/nut or whatever you want to call it is to wide to sit flat inside of a Ruger 10/22 composite stock (near front of rifle). You can technically just tighten it down a lot and use some epoxy, however I found it would cause the Swivel Stud to be slightly crooked from tightening flat receiver against a curved inside of the stock. (the flat area is not wide enough). It wouldn't be a big deal if using for a Rifle Sling, but I was using this stud for a bipod, so I couldn't afford for it not to be level.I ended up using the swivel stud that came with it, a machine bolt nut, and flattening out, trimming and epoxying a thin metal bracket inside of the stock to secure it to. You could technically dremel out a flat area to use the above item, but the material is so thin in the composite stock the last thing you want to do is remove more plastic.

Third hold from the front (on the bottom obviously - with a Harris Tripod) is where it fit the best & strongest
I used this on a S&W M&P Sport II. Third hold from the front (on the bottom obviously - with a Harris Tripod) is where it fit the best & strongest. I attached the bipod & used the included washer to center it in the hole then used Loctite 21425 epoxy to glue in place. I put packaging tape at the ends so I didn't drip in any in unwanted places. I also put a rubber cap over the threaded section to keep the glue off the threaded part. I let it set up over night, then added a second application. I did NOT glue underneath the adapter & plastic fore end of the rifle. after letting everything sit (I'd leveled everything ahead of time & taped it from moving) I again let it set up overnight. Still with the bipod attached, I removed the plastic cap & added a third coating of Loctite 21425 epoxy. After this set up overnight I used a fine abrasive cut off wheel on a Dremel Tool to level the bolt & "nut" center piece. Afterwards, painted the cut surfaces from a small bottle of white epoxy appliance touchup paint that I use for gun sites. I now have a STRONG base, REMOVABLE piece & NO sacrifice in looks. It was inexpensive, everything looks original & I couldn't be happier.

Perfect match for H&K SL8
I needed this to mount a Harris type bipod on my H&K SL8. The screw went right into the bottom of the handguard and worked perfectly. The plate shown in the picture wasn't needed.

Great for mounting a bipod on Benjamin Marauder Pistol!
I purchased this to install a bipod on my Benjamin Maruader .22cal pistol. Take the forearm off, drill a hole for the adapter and screw it on. A 5 minute job that looks professional and is very sturdy with good sized backing plate that comes with the adapter. I mounted a harris bipod to the pistol and works great, very solid. I also mounted a swivel adapter to the stock and can now put a sling on my P-Rod (I purchased "The Outdoor Connection Swivel Bases for BO-5 Detachable Swivels" for the stock). Solid product.

This is the one you need if you have a ...
This is the one you need if you have a foregrip on your AR that does have any holes. I installed the forgery, then I put the upper receiver in a vice block and put it in my bench vise, used a level to make sure it was exactly level, tied a string around the barrel, marked where it touched the foregrip to get TDB (top dead bottom), used a square to draw a line back 2" from the end of the foregrip, drilled a hole at the end of that line, inserted this forend adaptor, attached my harris bipod and killed some coyotes!
