My daughter is five years old. She just got her ears pierced a couple months ago. I tried another pair of earrings, and they gave her a reaction. These earrings are perfect for her. They have not had any effect on her skin, and she’s comfortable. She wears them All day and all night. They are beautiful and the right size. Like other reviewers, the back is extremely tiny. So I dropped it many times before I got it screwed on. But I was prepared. Make sure you’re in an area that is flat with no thick carpet.

I wanted earrings that I could keep in 24/7 in the upper holes in my ears. I change my earlobe ones every day but wanted some attractive, but discrete, earrings that could be worn with anything I put in my earlobes. I was scared that the screws would come loose but I’ve had them in continuously for weeks now and they are still as tightly screwed in as the day I first wore them. And when I go to bed I cannot feel anything. It’s like they aren’t there. These are sturdy and lovely and most importantly the backs were easy to screw on and haven’t ever loosened by themselves.

I did get the smallest size (4), but I didn't expect the back piece (locking device) to be so small. Rather than a butterfly type, it's a very small screw-on that's kind of like a ball with a super small threaded hole on one side (doesn't go through). The piece is so small it's hard to pick up, let along getting the hole where you want it. When you do finally get it into the position that you think will get it started onto the shaft, you can't see what you're doing. So, you will likely drop the back piece, or keep missing the hole. It's just extremely hard to pick up, or hold in place, or get it started. When you do feel like you've screwed in on, you're not sure and almost afraid to let go for fear of the back piece dropping (it's very easy to lose track of once it's dropped). Recommendation: even though the stud may be small, the back piece should be big enough to not create such a hard time putting all into place. However, such a match isn't what you'll get when you order this.

I was searching for a pair of earrings that I could leave on overnight. I didn’t want plain gold balls and luckily I found these! 6mm is much larger than I imagined and I’ll be ordering another pair a bit smaller. They are quite sparkly and look like diamonds. The screw backs are secure - no need to worry about losing them. You wont feel the post sticking in you because the screw-backs cover them. They came in a pretty little drawstring bag of velvet-like fabric and in a lovely box. Perfect for gift for someone or yourself. I’m very pleased and highly recommend.

a nice product, I'm wearing it right now but...I'm not a young guy. We didn't grow up with the metric-system, being Americans and all. The size (in metric) didn't register until it delivered, and WOW, the product is TINY. So much so that I took MULTIPLE attempts to screw on the back-piece, very difficult to do. If you are 'over 50', and have old, 'clunky' fingers, you might want to pass on this one

First off, these earrings are very VERY PETITE. Depending on what you're looking for (kids vs adult earring), that may be good or bad. Because they are so small, they are extremely difficult to put on. I bought the 3mm bc my toddler daughter lost a gold crystal stud earring. Not sure if it's truly 14k gold, but if it is, supposed to be hypo allergenic. Packaging was nice, came in a turquoise suede box (toddler instantly thinks Elsa earrings).Not easy to put on. I work with my hands for a living (invasive cardiologist, doing procedures all day) and due to the size of these very small earrings (& even smaller size of the earring back), I almost lost the earring back before I was able to put it on. Screwing the very small earring back onto my toddler's ear was extremely difficult. And once screwed on properly, it looked crooked. But they would not come off easily (unless purposely screwing them off), which fits my purposes for getting screw back earrings. My daughter says they're very comfortable (shocking, bc she complains about nearly everything!) My guess is they're probably comfortable for her because they're very lightweight, post is small, post is short (doesnt stick out to poke her), and screw back is small (so it is lightweight). These fit her perfectly & are much shinier than the $90 gold crystal studs we got from Claire's when they originally pierced her ears.Could an angry toddler take off these earrings themselves? Not sure. But since my daughter likes her earrings, doesnt mess with them, and generally gets upset if they fall out, these were perfect for us. Would recommend to other parents looking for reasonable, good quality earrings that won't fall out of their kid's ears!

Earrings are very pretty, however trying to screw on back is quite challenging. So very small and easily lost if dropped....

These were the perfect earrings for my daughter. She has been having a hard time with sensitivity and these have not bothered her at all. The backs are tiny but stay in place once secured.
