nuLOOM Harriet Vintage Medallion Fringe Area Rug, 7' 10" Square, Rust

We received our 10x13 nuLOOM rug yesterday and I couldn't wait to lay it down. We have weathered grey wood floors and have had a difficult time finding a rug that stands out against the floor and fits within our style. This one works great. One thing to note (another reviewer mentioned this and I forgot) is that the weft goes in two directions so depending on if you want a more vibrant look, turn it one way, or if you want a more vintage look, turn it the other way. You can see the difference in the photos I posted. Looking at the rug from left to right, it's much more vibrant, but looking at it right to left, the colors are muted. The rug is soft and looks well made. It is pretty comparable to the higher-end ones that go for $900+. We're pretty happy!

I’m really impressed with this rug! We ordered the 8x10 - the color and pattern is stunning! It’s very soft and not too thin (would expect thinner for the price)! I am so pleased with how this looks and feels in our space! I might get a different colored one for our master bedroom. Gorgeous!

This rug is SO NICE. I was at s rug store previously and all of the rug I was looking at STARTED at $1,500 for an 8x10. This rug feels and look so much nicer. You really are getting a lot for the price. It is SO soft. Literally feels like a really thick velvet fabric, but durable.I suggest buying a rug pad. It makes it even more comfortable. Our house is all wood floors so its nice to have a comfortable spot to lay on floor with a big pillow and blanket.I will say the color is slightly more washed out than the photo but I am VERY detail oriented and I might be one of very few people to notice this. The rug is true to size. It is not stiff what so ever. Drape-y, heavy and lays flat right away. Definitely feels and looks expensive.Overall great purchase. I am going to buy from the same brand for my dining room.

I ordered this in the 8'x10' size. I love going to the local auction to see what the area carpets are going for. They were out of our budget range, because I am not sure how long we will be at this address. I didn't even know Amazon sold rugs. So many to choose from. Keep in mind, that a 8'x10' rug cost less than $250....more because I also ordered a carpet pad.They have come a long way with manufactured rugs. This has a beautiful rich color pallet that is stunning on a wood floor. I will send a picture when I get the padding. It looks exactly like it does in the picture. The pile is very short, which is just what I wanted because I watch my little grandsons a lot. It was packaged very well, with end covers reinforced to prevent the carpet getting damaged when shipped. It does have that warp and weft effect where it will look lighter from one direction, and darker from the opposite. Almost all carpet or rugs have this issue, so don't think you ordered a damaged rug. With the short pile, the will improve with wear, and with the pad.The only thing I do not like is the fringe. The carpet itself is designed to have a worn look and the fringe looks too white and new. I plan on distressing it very carefully with cutting a small bit of the fringe with bang scissors to thin it out, and tea stain carefully by painting on tea concentrated dye in gradient sections. I'll send that too when I'm donel This one is definitely NOT going back. Our cat loves it, and thinks it's an early Christmas present to her!

This rug is stunning and very on trend at the moment. I’ve been searching all over for the perfect mix between a vintage and persian looking rug with more of a modern touch. This rug is exactly that. Nuloom does a great job of inexpensive and stylish rugs. I would’ve given it 5 stars except that the corners are a little bit frayed/unravelled which was the case with my other Nuloom rug when it arrived. But for the price I can’t complain! Please note: the runner size in this does not have fringe on the ends like the area rug does.

Purchased this for our back door entry over hardwood floors.- very pretty muted colors- low pile, although the binding around the edges is thicker than the rug pile. My door catches a bit on the binding, which is a bummer, b/c if not for the binding thickness, the door would easily swing over the rug pile itself.- I ordered the 3x5 and was disappointed that this size has no fringe on the ends. I could have returned it per the return policy, but didn't want to bother. Too bad. The fringe would have made it look less like a mat and more like an area rug.- The colors are muted, which is fantastic, b/c the rug has a slight sheen to it that would have screamed "I am acrylic" if the colors were brighter. I am using this in our back door entry, so I'm not too concerned about elegance, but if using this in a living room or front entry or location that gets a lot of natural light, I would think twice. Our back entry is off the garage, so there isn't all that much natural light in that area. That situation is nice lighting for this rug. As a test, I moved it to our front entry which is full of natural light, and the sheen was very unattractive and "cheap-y" looking.Summary - - I specifically wanted a synthetic (not wool) rug, so I was expecting that it might have an acrylic sheen. Using it in the entry off the garage, I know it will get dirty and its main purpose is to wipe our feet on and not track dirt into the house, so being able to clean it easily is important in this case.I shopped locally first before ordering this online.For a synthetic rug that was also low pile enough for door clearance, this is by far, much prettier than anything I saw anywhere . . . Target, Macy's, Bed/Bath/Beyond, Homeworld . . .For what it is, it is extremely pretty and I am very happy with it.

While the rug I received is pretty, it looks nothing like the picture! I ordered the 3x5 and it does not have fringe as the add stated. It is very muted and the colors are not near as distinct as pictured.

Perfect "distressed" look to the colours and good size for my living room. Very soft underfoot. I am extremely pleased with this rug.

Looks fantastic in our lounge, the price was reasonable and it was delivered on time. Let’s hope it stands the test of time.

The rug I received had very muted nearly pastel colours. I want the bright colours. I am disappointed and now concerned about attempting a return/replacement due to size. The picture attached has not been retouched or filtered at all. That is honestly how light the colours are!

I first saw this rug on Wayfair and I was considering it, then saw it here $100 less and that was my decision made for me. I was skeptical because all of the reviews said it was so thin, but with a decent rug pad it is so plush and soft. The colours ar rich and warm (I bought the rust colour) the pattern is perfect with no pixelation (6.7x9.4). I really couldn't be happier.

I wanted a patterned rug that was still subtle on the colour. I got the silver version and I'm fairly happy with it. It is just like the photo, with a lot of greys and beige tones which is exactly what I wanted. The only "bad thing" I have to say about it is that the corners are still curling up slightly even after having heavy objects on the corners for weeks. I've lived with the rug for about a month and a half now and it hasn't gotten much better. Besides that, I'm very pleased with the colour and the plushness of it and probably would buy again from this seller.
