NOT 100% ORIGINAL PRODUCT. Pay the extra ~$20.00 and buy it from Chicago Knife Works.
I don't usually take time to write reviews for products unless they are deficient in some way. I'm not trying to be self-important but the plain fact is I bill out at over $1000.00/hr. So, it's just not an efficient use of time for me. Therefore, when I choose to spend some time writing about a product, it may be to your benefit to heed the review.I purchased (what appeared to be) the exact same item from two different sellers. There was only a ~$20.00 difference between sellers. I am going on an extended trip into the Teton Mountain Range on horseback and I needed the Bowie to arrive before my departure date. Even though the delivery date was promised by no later than 08.25.20, I received it on 08.17.20.The Bowie from this Chicago Knife Works arrived in perfect condition, in the original Fallkniven presentation box - with the sharpening stone. Absolutely what I would have expected for such an expensive blade. The same Bowie from eCop arrived in a cardboard Fallkniven box. No presentation case, no sharpening stone. To be 100% fair, eCop provided NO DESCRIPTION of the knife (and it was ~$20.00 cheaper), while Chicago Knife Works DID provide a description. Long story - short: If there's no description and a price difference, expect you may very well not be comparing apples to apples. The moral of the story is if you're going to be purchasing a quality knife any time in the relatively near future, buy it from Chicago Knife Works. Shame on eCop for omitting those "little details". They make a difference to many people.CAVEAT EMPTOR.

Large heavy bowie suitable for chopping wood
Listen, if you are getting something this big and heavy, either for wood processing, or for the zombie apocalypse, then this is for you. I've chopped mountains of wood for a whole week, never have to resharpen till end of the week. That COS steel is no slouch
