Adam Hall SLT001 Laptop Stand with Clamp

Great to be able to screw onto a desk to create extra space on the desk for other components by raising the laptop. Works fine for holding the computer w/o rick of it falling off.However it feels a little flimsy if you start typing on the computer, so best use is with a remote keyboard.Can be sized from a 11in Mac Book Air to a 15in Retina Mac Book Pro.Only improvement I would make is making the front retaining bends just a bit taller to be sure that even if bumped the laptop doesn't slide down (probably only problem with super slim laptops like MBA)

Good product except I'm a mobile dj and it's not as efficient to break down and set back up... other than that works great

Sturdy but my laptop slips out of it. So, it kind of fails to do what it's meant for, but I use them for synths.

I needed a stand that would raise my laptop up off my desk so that I could place both a USB MIDI controller and a USB keyboard in front, as I use the laptop for a bit of hobby music production/recording/messing around. I needed something strong - the laptop I'm using is an Alienware mx17 R2, so weighs about 6.5kg with the battery in, and has a 17" screen - so it's a bit of a beast. This stand takes the weight with no problem whatsoever. It has good sturdy 'feet', and comes with a pair of clamps if you need to attach it to a desk or a DJ coffin. It's easy to assemble, and is rock solid. I'm not out gigging though, so I can't vouch for its stability on the road or in a live situation, but I suspect you would have no problem at all with it. Definitely recommend it.

Brilliant item. I needed a stand for my 17" MacBook Pro and found it quite hard to compare laptop stands online, without being able to see them.I took a gamble on this stand and it paid off. Seems well built, (although, with quite thin metal it can bend a little if you transport it quite a bit - bends back easily though), and the height and angle works fine for me, sitting over my Mackie mixer.Very good unit - would definitely recommend.

I bought this to go under my CDJ's so I can put my laptop above the mixer. Does the job! Very sturdy and even coms with brackets to secure it to the table. I found it very easy to put together.

Excellent item; was purchased for a music studio to raise some effects units and small synths above the mixing desk and they worked very well. Some lateral movement is evident even with the unit securely clamped to a desk but for the weight being supported this is not a problem.

the item is brilliant, it does exactly what it said on the box.I would very highly recommend this item
