Super sturdy
Me:I spend a lot of time at my computer and really needed to make things a bit more ergonomic (wrist pain).I wanted:To attach an external keyboard to my laptop, raise the laptop up to be level with my second monitor, and move it back out of the way. I wanted the laptop to not fall out or slide around the desk.I dilly-dallied and stalled:I looked at a lot of options and many just had small lips or tabs that made me worry the laptop wouldn't be stable and could slip out (I have a lenovo that has a curved edge in the front rather than completely squared). I couldn't make up my mind.My husband is a doer:I was still looking, but my husband decided on this one for his laptop and ordered it. We had a little trouble getting it set up, but that's because we're allergic to directions. Any laptop would fit very securely, the flap that goes over the keyboard ensures that it can't fall out. It's heavy so it doesn't slide around on the desk. I liked his so much, I ordered one for me.Some things aren't meant to be portable:Not for on the go; it's heavy and has sharp edges. I don't take my laptop out much so it stays put most of the time. Plus the usb sticker that came with the usb hub is not very sticky and would fall off constantly if you tried to move it much. Of course, you could always buy a stickier sticker if you really wanted to build some muscle by hauling around a super heavy laptop stand with your laptop. You can never have too many usb ports:The included usb hub is very convenient since I only have 3 usb ports on my laptop. I've got the keyboard and mouse plugged in to the hub and that leaves two slots for usb keys, which I utilize quite a bit. The hub is not usb 3.0, but most of the keys I use aren't either.

Excellent product
I have installed a dozen of these for clients and in my own office. This item has a great build quality, angles well, and I've received zero complaints! It is currently our go-to laptop stand. The available angle adjustment has worked very well for the intended use (see note below). The included USB hub is a nice addition for plug-n-play devices such as wireless kb/mouse, printers, etc. (Am pretty sure the hub handles USB 2.0 fine, but as expected it will not register USB 3.0 at the 3.0 speeds)Note: 11 of 12 of the mentioned installs were for multi-monitor setups. Most we for adding a secondary 24" flat panel next to the laptop, 2 were for adding an additional two screens beyond the laptop. The ability to angle makes this a really nice fit.FYI: For more than one additional screen we utilized a USB 2.0 dock from Pluggable Technologies found on Amazon. It has worked very well for over a year in both instances. The dock utilizes CPU processing and I believe both laptops had either a 2nd gen i5 or i7 CPU, and performance rarely skipped a beat on 24" screens at full 1080 resolution. (1 screen connected to laptop HDMI, the other to the DVI on the dock) Amazon Title Description: Plugable USB 2.0 Universal Laptop Docking Station with DisplayLink DVI/VGA up to 1920x1080, Audio, Ethernet, and 4 Available High-Speed USB 2.0 Ports

Perfect!
I use my laptop in place of a desktop computer. This workstation does exactly what it should, and is sturdy and easy to use. The adjustable riser mechanism works easily, and provides more than enough adjustable angled levels. Since my laptop opens to less than a180° angle, I was concerned about whether or not the height adjustments would result in my laptop tilting forward. I needn't have worried. And the document holder works perfectly. The inclusion of a usb hub was a great idea. I had originally been looking for a 3M riser that comes with a built-in usb hub and cooling fan, but 3M doesn't make it any more. The absence of a cooling fan on the Fellowes workstation is not a problem. The back portion of the riser, on which the laptop rests, is perforated, so cooling takes place naturally from the ventilation. This is the BEST productivity purchase I've made in a long time!

Mobility of Laptop with Comfort of a Desktop when Home!
Yes, it works best with the addition of an external keyboard. I got a Logitech SOLAR external keyboard that is great - no wires, no batteries. An external keyboard is not a huge expense when considering the ergonomics of the screen height for your back and eye vision. Hunching over a laptop is taxing on the body. The metal front is good to know that your laptop won't slide off the stand. I had tried a couple other Fellowes risers that did not have a front panel, just a horizontal ledge, and my laptop slipped off the front when placing the stand in the most vertical position. I am ecstatic with this model as I need the screen as far forward as possible for my eyes and the screen height is reducing my lower back pain. I love having the mobility of the laptop for travel and now the comfort of a desktop at home. Now, my husband wants one! He likes the ventilation aspect of the stand and it also has holes in back resting plate as well as an open air design.

Fellowes Professional Series Laptop Workstation
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this laptop stand! My chiropractor told me I have a reverse curve to my neck from my dozen+ years as an entrepreneur working from my laptop. I got this stand and it holds the screen at the perfect angle (my neck is actually sore from being FINALLY held back n the proper direction) and my chiropractor says we're making progress reversing the problem. The USB hub is great and allows me to plug in my wireless mouse and keyboard power source without sacrificing outlets. Some reviewers said it's heavy and bulky - I don't get that, but I use mine on a desk and don't try holding it in my lap. It collapses down for easy travel in a suitcase - though if I were just taking it out for a day trip I wouldn't bother with the stand,

Bien

Perfect for the office!
I ordered this to use with my laptop at the office. When your laptop is set up it places it higher and more inline with my other other monitor I have set up. After I got this one everyone in my office wanted one, I think I’m up to ordering 6 of this one now and we all love it. Highly recommend

Excellent laptop stand
PROS:- Well made, almost entirely metal- Stand has a relatively small corner-shaped footprint- Fully tilt-able which is easily adjusted- Four port USB hub- Very useful document holder- Price not bad for what you get compared to many other similar productsCONS:- Document holder has fragile-seeming plastic tabs to hold document which are difficult to use and put wrinkles in things clip in (as a solution, you can bypass these and use magnets instead since the holder plate is metal)- A bit heavy and awkward if you plan on transporting it between home and office regularly- The cost, regardless of what I said in the PROS section - but I think the cost of all these stands is a bit ridiculous.
