Wilton Ultimate Spiderman Cake Pan, Silver, Aluminum

The problem is decorating the cake. The image transfers, but icing covers it up.

The pan worked great. The first layer I didn't add flour before the batter so it stuck a little but second cake turned out great. It was a little hard finding the lines but I think it turned out great!

Excellent to work with Kitchen Supply. The product is new as stated. Came very fast. They responded to my question very promptly. I will definitely buy from them again!

This is a good Wilton pan, as they all are, but it's incredibly difficult to get the detail of the face and webs when the cake comes out of the pan. You need to use A LOT of non-stick spray and flour before you add the cake batter in.

Good quality for cost. Good enough detail on the cake for decorating. Easy to follow recipes and instructions if you'd like to use them. All around worked out wonderful for my son's spiderman themed 7th birthday party!

The pan held up well after using it twice however, the lines are so faint after baking that for an amateur baker like myself it was impossible to frost it the way it is intended. Also the pan is very shallow so it makes for an oddly sized cake. This doesn’t feel like the same quality as Wilton’s other shaped cake pans.

The pan works great. The embossing isn't super strong - by the time it's iced, its hard to tell there's a raised portion for Spiderman's head. Still, it makes it easier to ice because there's a pattern to follow. It includes instructions how to make the icing, and that icing worked well. Price was reasonable (cheaper than having a custom cake made by someone else), however, after I made the cake I found out a local store has all kinds of these pans and will rent them, so I am going to do that next time. I'd rather not have a collection of these things on a few years... May try and sell the used one now.

I bought this to make my grandson a birthday cake, he is spiderman crazy I have done a trial bake and it turned out fantastic it's easy to decorate as the markings turned out so defined, I didn't want my grandson to see it so I gave it a neighbour for her son who's birthday was that week and he loved it i would recommend it to anyone even if you don't bake a lot it's so easy to do.

The spiderman head didn't come out formed although the head was slightly raised but that was about it. I couldn't trace anything out. I had to use the picture of spiderman's face to draw it out.

The only tin I have ever used which made my sponge stick and then fall apart. it was for my sons cake so I've had to improvise and make a cake using a tin I know doesn't stick and crumble.
