good quality sturdy stuff
They are very expensive if you've got a lot of plants that need support. I found that canes and string do a very similar job at a significantly lower cost.

Quite heavy!
I suspect these would be great for supporting heavier plants. I didn't know they were quite as heavy as they were but I can always find a use for them in my garden. At the moment, they are waiting to provide support for cornflowers and poppies which are due to appear in the next month or so.
