Works great!
Works great, easy to set up. If you’ve ever tried to rip an angled cut on a table saw without a guide then you are going to love this taper jig. Nice straight perfect angled rips, I just wish I had found this sooner.

Good Value
Easy assembly and setup. Versatile. Adequate length for most projects. Well constructed. Well packaged. Clear and concise instructions. It’s simple enough and satisfying to make your own, but this product is a good value.

Limited on length and width of material you can work with, but solid performer.
It's pretty straight forward to use. Once I saw how it worked I was able to make the tapered cuts on my table saw. It held It's angle when I made multiple cuts.

Very happy with this purchase.
I got this both to cut tapers and to get straight edges on boards so I can joint them and plane them. Setting up is a snap and the parts are all quality. Lots of nice touches like grip tape strips on the top and the rulers are nice and easy to stick on. Limitations: the width of the piece to be tapered is limited but this will work for me. You need to take the miter strip off the bottom (three screws) to use this to rip boards. Not a deal breaker by any means for me, I am just trying to find a place to store it so I do not lose it. I could have built this myself but it would not be this nice and I am happy with the purchase.

Good but should be made with stronger wood or reinforced with metal.
Like all Rockler products, this one was made well and in good shape when shipped. However, like some of their other products, it is made from composite, which makes the product weak when screwing in the clamps. I nearly broke it with a small amount of pressure to hold down the first boards. I have reinforced it since then, but should not have to go through rebuilding a weak product. I would think that, after a lot of similar comments that I have read on other sites, Rockler would build their base boards out of hardwood, not cheap composite. Outside of that, it works fine but is somewhat short, so I will end up building my own variation with stronger wood, then use the clamps they sent. I would rather pay more and get a stronger board than worry about the board cracking when the clamps are applied. Also, it took nearly a month to arrive, so they must be making these to order, which is fine but should be stated up front.

A step up.
I bought this because I cut tapered parts all the time. I had one of those tapered jigs that has two metal bars attached by a hinge at the top. It worked OK but was a pain to set up each time and sometimes slipped. I love the ease of setting up this jig. The clamps are a bit slow if you're mass-producing parts so I replaced them with quick-release toggle clamps but the jig is a sound investment for me.

I bought it and it sucked
I bought this Jig and it sucked. It flexes too much and doesn't really work well. I used the parts for other things I was building.
