Well packed!
Arrive today (2 weeks early). Pleased with packaging and it appears exactly like the picture. Will plant and write a review after watching results. Will keep a picture diary. My beautiful heliconias I. bought from these guys four years ago have multiplied and I have had two beautiful blooms (moved several times to find the "right, happy" location. I finally found it!

Included soil caused root rot and it ended up dying.
The included soil was causing root rot, and this plant eventually died after 2-3 months. I was excited to have this plant, not sure if the wrong soil killed it or what. It's hard for me to kill a plant, so I don't know where something went wrong.

This particular Heliconia does NOT grow in Southern California!
Owner should not sell to so cal customers KNOWING this species of plant does not grow outdoors here. I didn’t know that! Grower certainly does having sent to my address. Lesson learned! Know and understand your plants you’re buying!

Died right away
Ordered in May and didn’t receive until July although it said shipped since early May. Received a very sick looking plant which has now died. Not happy.

Concerned that my plant is not healthy
Upon arrival in the box, my plant appeared to be in perfect health, however after only two days it began to turn brown, shrivel up, and lose most of its leaves. The remaining leaves are damaged but have not continued to die, the stalk still appears green but I am not sure about its condition at this point. This is not a negative review about the supplier, simply because I think my plant has issues and needs attention. Thank you.

This plant is slow to grow and apparently won’t bloom for 2 years. Will wait patiently…
