Binatone U505 5 Inch UK and ROI Sat Nav - Free Lifetime Maps !

I bought this sat nav after previsously owning a Binatone sat nav of the same value. Compared to the old Binatone this later model is terrible. The graphics on the map is dreadful! It looks like a child drew it and there have been a few occassions where it is not graphically clear where the sat nav is directing you to go. Furthermore, the sat nav has tried to take me down routes that don't even exist. The worst thing about it is the volume. Even with the volume set to maximum it is very difficult to hear the directions with the car engine running. Personally I wouldn't waste your money on this product. It's better to spend a bit more and get a better functioning sat nav.

Bought as a back up if I am travelling alone, also for any new city's I go to.Never let me down got me to the places I wanted to go without any bother. This does what it needs to do excellent price

easy to use in the car

unable to set time to BST,told this was normal.some road numbers are wrong,nobody can give an explanation,binatone help line unhelpful.

Very confusing directions and usually spoken too late to make the manoeuvre safely. V disappointed as previous Binatone unit had been one of the best we had used. Maps hopelessly out of date too. Our house is 10 years old but still not recognized.

Slim, light and easy to use. Clear map on screen. Clear voice instructions. Highly recommend this product

Early days but seems great value for the money.
