Looks great after lots of modifications!
I’m glad I bought this. If we didn’t have saws and clamps to modify the slats it wouldn’t have fit together. The planter is an awesome height, I love that. The screw heads take up space that keep some of the bottom slats from fitting. We had to cut quite a few of the slats to fit. Some of the slats were split and the stain/paint looks better on some than others. Be mindful to put less desirable boards facing the back when assembling. It was very sturdy once we got it together.

It could have be so much better if the manufacturer had paid attention to details
What a headache! A lot of adjustments had to be made on the wooden planks that came damaged. In addition, this product which is suppose to be toxic free, comes with an aluminum track. The holes on this aluminum track did not aline up to where it should have been either. I had to purchase wood to replace this piece. Too much work... a big headache, for something that cost $150. It could have be so much better if the manufacturer had paid attention to details.

Will have to modify 1 or 2 boards to make bottom fit
Easy to build once all pieces arrived though a electric drill, saw/ knife and sanding paper.I had to cut 2 boards to accommodate the 13 baseboard pieces with a serrated knife due to the legs taking up a bit of space in the corners. There isn't really a way to avoid it as the cleats will not align with the legs otherwise. The holes on pieces cannot move to accommodate the extra 1/8" to 1/4" needed to make the bottom fit. Having to cut and sand notches to get the bottom to fit was a tad annoying and the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. If they had provided 2 baseboard panels pre- notched, this item would have received 5 stars!I gave this product a 4 instead of 5 because of this extra and anything step which was unavoidable

I thought I had outwitted the gopher.
I did not expect to need the purchase of a rodent zapper. Something climbed the planter and finished off the broccoli plants, some tomatos, zucchini, etc. Nothing was observed marauding around there, so I conjectured that it must be a rat at night. Sadly, I offed a squirrel in the rat zapper. I like squirrels but cannot allow my time, energy, money to be spent for the health and well-being of a squirrel. So sorry little squirrel that you did not remain in the gigantic avocado tree. There were enough avocados for you and me.

Holding up well...
We have been using this planter to hold a couple of commercial "hanging basket" plastic pots with flowers on a bed of wood chips for a season. When we got it, I had some difficulty with the assembly of the "floor" pieces inside the planter, they were very slightly "too wide" for the opening. I would recommend it to those who are handy with assembly. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to get everything set up, tightened, and level.

parts missing
I purchased this planter expecting all the parts to be included 1) missing board, 1 missing caster adaptor to screw the caster into. Quality control must be terrible

Great rolling stand for my Orchids
I needed a plant stand for my expanding Orchid collection that looked good and was on wheels. After looking at various options, I purchased this cart and I'm very pleased with it.Pros:- Aestically appealing, blends well on my back patio and my orchids look great in it!- Large enough to fit multiple flower pots- Rolls easily on wheels. Wheels can lock when needed.- Assembly was a bit time consuming as there were a lot of screws, but easy enough. All pieces fit together as expected.Cons:- Two of the legs were damaged in the original shipment, I did an exchange on Amazon and the replacement arrived quickly.- The cart is meant to put dirt in and use as a self-watering planter, but I just needed a rolling stand. Therefore, the box itself is too deep, so I had to set the pots on wood blocks inside the planter so you can actually see them, instead of just the tops of the flowers. This is not a flaw, just a result if the way I'm using it.- I thought the cost was a bit high compared to other products, but I went with this one due to the wheels.- Since it is real wood it does tend to splinter, so watch out for slivers. 😊In summary, as I am not using the self-watering function I cannot speak to that, but for the reasons stated above I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it.
