Outsunny 4.6m Garden Parasol Double-Sided Sun Umbrella Patio Market Canopy Shade Outdoor - NO BASE

I took a risk as the reviews have been variable. I’m thrilled to say that it has been super easy to erect, the material seems robust enough and apart from a tendency to rotate in a gentle breeze (easily fixed) the canopy size and frame structure seems exceptionally good value. Early days (first 3days) but very happy….doubly so that it arrived 3days earlier than predicted when the order was placed.

These are huge, a lot bigger than I realised and fantastic amount of shade.There very heavy so you need quite a big table to put them in because the weight of themAlone would be hard to accommodate,I have no idea what kind of base you would use for these as they come just the pole but I brought two and have themBoth in tables,Fantastic for the money for sure and buying the wine colour was £20 cheaper than some of the other colours oddly! …

This is a pretty large parasol. The whole thing appears to be sturdy. I'd be amazed if anyone has successfully used this with a base. A socket in the ground would be more appropriate. There is so much parasol for the wind to catch, it becomes rather unstable.The pole is very substantial. The bottom part of the pole screws in to the top part and I found it to be a bit difficult to line it up correctly. I had the parasol lying on a work surface and I did the assembly horizontally. Once fitted together, the whole assembly is well over 8' high, which makes storage interesting. It is also quite heavy and unwieldy.Erected it looks great, but putting it up it is quite an effort. Time will tell how much we use it.

Love these Parosols...had them for the last few years...fancied a colour change....use them all year round

I purchased one of these in 2020 and it has lasted 4 years, in all weathers, been very reliable.No complaints.

Its big. Its what we wanted. For what it is its cheap. But we have a few niggles .You need a very heavy base...or an addition as we bought (see photo). Not the prettiest thing on the patio but you will need one.As others have reported either the left or right vertical bars do not go all the way into the 'holder'. You can try as hard as you like to wind up the ropes but its not easily possible unless you want to risk snapping the ropes. Maybe not a problem but the umbrella does not sit level. Then the next day its the other way round ??The twin umbrella in my view is way to geometrically complicated with far too many junction nodes.The string is not heavy duty and I can see it lasting only a few seasons, snapping and impossible to repair.I suggest looking at two umbrellas and putting them side by side. Preferably ones that do not have the concealed string. Then you can fix them for years to come

We have a big outside table with a bench seat each side and a chair each end. It is made of wood and very sturdy. This garden parasol goes through the hole in the middle of the table made for it. It is easy to put up but you would need some strength as it is so big. Once you have put it in the hole it winds up very easily. I just wish we could get a cover for it as we have to keep getting it out and putting it back in the box.
