I bought these not having the highest of hopes with their quality as they are only $12.35. Let me be the one to tell you they are very nice and are of rather decent quality. I have compared them to be similar to Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. I also discovered that they can be placed into pans and left to dry as I experimented with that as soon as I purchased them. I have found that putting a little bit of honey can help ensure they stay moist and don’t dry out completely and possibly become destroyed. Contrary to some people’s experience the tubes I received were filled completely with paint, little to no air. These paints are not a scam. I thoroughly enjoyed them. 10/10 plan on buying again.

I am not a professional artist but I paint and only use watercolor. I have several of the popular artist grade watercolors. This set really surprised me. Bright and intense colors with excellent transparency. Tubes are 12 ml, a lot of paint. For the price, this is a great set. I ordered a second set after swatching.

i initially bought these paints because I really love the Miya Himi Jelly Gouache and wanted to see their watercolors! These tubes I havent seen on social media or youtube and honestly wanted them to do a Youtube review video. After receiving these I was super excited and opened them immediately and noticed some things. 1st, I love the packaging. The box, the stacked trays. The convenient size, just ooooh its really nice and cute. Thats where stuff starts to get weird though. I double checked all of the pictures in the listing as well as reviews for mentions of this but I assume this is a packing error? All of the colors are mixed up and out of order and one of the paints in this 18 watercolor set is in fact a toube of gouache. Id understand it if it were white gouache but its the grass green color. Im very confused by this and would easily give this set 4 or 5 stars if it were only what it said it would be. Update: I tried multiple times to use these paints well for a video review on youtube and I absolutely cannot recommend these. They abaolutely do not set up and dry well in a palette, they can rewet but theyre crumbly and gritty like very inexpensive gouache. The colors themselves are pretty, but it takes a lot of work to get them to do what you want and a beginner might find this very frustrating and think its their mistakes and not the paint's.
