Exceptional lens, exceptional value!
I needed a faster 70-200 lens for my photography but the Canon lens for my camera was $2800 (Canon RF 70-200 f2.8)! After reading and watching a lot of reviews of the Tamron 70-200 f2.8 G2 I decided to try it. After using it for a couple weeks I have been very happy with it. The autofocus with my Canon R8 has been fast and accurate. The sharpness and image quality has been exceptional. Is the Canon lens superior? Yes, I'm sure its slightly better in a few ways, but the slight improvements just aren't worth the higher price to me. FYI, I got this lens as a used/refurbished/renewed unit in like new condition for $1000 so I saved $1800 over the equivalent new Canon lens.

Best lens ever
I don't go anywhere without my Tamrom 70-200 2.8 lens. It does everything I need including fast focus, clean images and easy to use. The Image Stabilization is super fantastic. It also feels like a real lens, not the little lightweights out there. I did a lot of homework between the Canon equivalent and the Tamron won hands down for 1/2 the price. I also didn't like the white color on the Canon lens. It just didn't fit well with me. Looked real old school. I highly recommend this lens along with the Tamron 24-70 2.8 to complete your pro package.

This was "renewed"
I saved $300 buying a "renewed" lens. I can NOT find anything wrong with it. I don't even find a scratch or ding on the outside. I added on the Warrenty and a UV Filter and still I'm money ahead. The Tamron lens is an awesome value compared to the Canon Lens. The sharpness and autofocus are phenomenal. I bought this lens for my Eastern Caribbean cruise. Some of my best photos ever. I highly recommend this lens and don't be afraid of the "renewed" lens.

Amazing lens
This lens is cheaper than the competition's lenses with all the quality. I've been getting some amazingly clean and crisp shots with this, it's by far my favorite lens purchase.

Best (70-200 F2.8) Lens for the money
I have had this lens for a few months now and I am blown away by the images I got so far. I love the sun and shooting into the late day sun for real flares. There is such a balance between washing out your subject and finding that great streak. One flare (not pictured) yielded a perfect Fibonacci circle of Sunlight...I bought my first Tamron (70-300) lens in a pawn shop in 2010 for $80. I still use it today. Great piece of glass. @FlickerShackPhotos

Amazing Buy‼️
I purchased this product from Amazon Renewed and I’m super happy I did. This product looks brand new!!! I used for entire week shooting events and it works flawless, I’ve shot with the canon 70-200 L IS II and in my opinion this is on par with it . The IS is definitely better!!
