Broke within two weeks of almost zero usage and without any significant impact. The connectors of one handle along with the chain came away. When I looked inside, a lot of rust had previously accumulated.

Chain is flimsy, may break
The chain is flimsy in comparison. Works well as a baton but dangerous to swing as Nan-chaku. The chain slides in mid-swing regardless of your control so it may injure you as well.
