We got these leather gloves for their quality stitching and double palm leather. They are thorn proof too as we use them to remove bramble and so far no thorns in my hands! A little expensive but well worth it!

Do not purchase another pair of gloves if you work hard. These gloves are high quality and last a long time. They do not work on your phone or picking up small objects. They are made for the working people and hold up with sharp objects. Do yourself a favor and purchase these gloves if you are looking for a heavy-duty pair of gloves.

The doubled leather is thick enough to withstand barbed wire. I have concern that the single layer portion will fail prematurely as it is not stout leather but so far so good. These in large size fit me more like a smallish medium. I hope they will stretch a bit. UPDATE 10/2021 - I've used these off and on and exclusively for fence work for a couple of years now (with a hiatus for a t-post installed torn rotator cuff surgery) and they've held up well. They haven't stretched much but enough that the large now fits snugly but OK. Ordered another pair.

Yup......they are good. Nice and thick. They hold up well. They will cause your hands to "turn yellow" from the dye/conditioner they put in them but that stops over time. These are tough gloves. Id get them again for sure.

These gloves are strong and comfortable and long lasting. Best gardening, home project gloves I have.

They feel tough but the stitching is coming apart after one month of use. I know they look older because I handle metal and the black rubs off. Update 1-31-22 I have changed to a five star. I have purchased several pairs of these now and this is the only pair that has fallen apart like this. The others have worn a hole through the fingers and the stitching still holds up. These are my favorite gloves.

I’ve been using these gloves for a little over a month, daily, and they have been holding up well. I have been doing underground electrical work, which is a lot of digging and working with large objects. Don’t get these if you need dexterity. They are pretty thick. Saved my hand from a nasty knife slip too! Update: Bought a second pair after a year of hard work! Definitely worth the money. The yellow dye comes off the leather when you sweat, but you can easily wash it off. Be careful when you buy these gloves. Noticed a small abrasion on the right thumb when I purchased this second set, and it has already turned into a large hole. My last pair showed wear like this after 9+ months! Definitely return or replace if it is on a heavy use area! May be too late for me.

I got for wire fencing (not barbed) and splitting and hauling firewood. Middle finger gave out at the tip. I went to their web site and see this is a common occurrence. Ah well...
