If you are looking for a pretty smell because it comes from a flower
If you are looking for a pretty smell because it comes from a flower, you will be disappointed. It is a seed oil - it smells like oil. This product is also blended with vitamin E - which happens to be an oil that I really hate the smell of. However, I was looking for the organic seed oils because I wanted to avoid unnecessary chemicals and a natural way to moisturize my very dry skin. I have an autoimmune condition that contributes to my dry skin and eyes. Left un-moisturized my hands can get small splits in the winter that will bleed, so really, really dry skin. I consider some treatments to be worth a blah smell, I think of it like medicine for your skin. This product does not smell 'bad,' and if you like the smell of vitamin E you will be in your glory. I purchased this item after doing some research on seed oils. I already was using evening primrose oil and I wanted to add this to my skin care routine. I started by alternating am/pm with the products, then just decided to use both together. I tend to use one pump of this product mixed with a few drops of evening primrose oil. It works well. I apply the blend immediately after a shower. By the time I have gotten partially dressed and into a robe, my skin is ready for makeup. No oil residue, just a soft freshly moisturized feel.Like most products, it states to avoid the eye area. I choose to use it everywhere on my face as well as in the eye area. I actually rub it in, including the lash line. I have very dry eyes and I can really rub this product in and have no irritation. In fact, it feels great! One 'drawback,' if you can really consider it one: If you are not going to use it quickly, you need to keep in in the refrigerator. Oils that are pure and organic, without preservatives, will go rancid. When I did keep mine in the refrigerator, I would forget about it. Unfortunately, I really need to put moisturizer on the minute I get out of the shower while I am in a steamy room, so if I didn't remember to bring it in the bathroom before my shower, then I can't use it. I have decided to throw caution to the wind and keep it in the bathroom and just check to make sure that it does not get a rancid smell.I would definitely buy this again. In fact, I would purchase a larger container to keep in the fridge and just keep refilling this container to the 1/2 way point to overcome the rancid potential vs. the keep in the bathroom to make it usable.

Fair price and great dispenser on this little bottle
I have a child with eczema, plus the rest of our family experiences dry skin during New England's harsh winters.Argan Oil may or may not work for you... but this is a very convenient size for trying a new skin product! I particularly like this brand for the easy to use pump applicators on top. We've used both this Argan Oil and the same line's , as well as many other brands of oil available at Whole Foods and on Amazon, and this applicator is the very best. I can easily dispense a small amount to smooth over my own oily facial skin, or add several pumps to a handful of mixed oils to moisturize my little guy with the skin condition after his bath.( really suffers by comparison when it comes to ease of use!)As I mentioned, my skin has always been oily and breakout prone, but also very sensitive to chemicals. With age and winter starting to leave me dried out for part of the year, I was really at a loss when every moisturizing cream I tried led to breakouts. I've been using some skin oils, beginning with because I had it, then on to jojoba oil and now Argan, and I've been much more successful than when using prepared products with too many ingredients for my temperamental face. I wish I could say we'd cured winter skin, but we haven't. It just feels better with application of some (tiny bit of) oil over freshly washed skin. Argan Oil does feel just amazing going on. I think it has the least greasy residue of any oil I've tried yet (Olive, Jojoba, Baobab, Avocado, Sesame and Castor.)Along the same lines, my sensitive little guy still has eczema, but he hasn't reacted badly to this Argan Oil, though I think the Baobab Oil is working out best for him.Whole Foods has this line of oils on sale this week (month?) for about what I paid here on Amazon, but the regular price is about 50% higher, so you may want to shop around before you buy.

so far, I love it!
Jussct received this a couple days ago and so far I love it. I looked up some reviews on the best brands of argan oil that were also reasonably priced. Aura Acacia was one of the brands mentioned. I am familiar with Aura Cacias essential oils and am pleased with the quality of their products. I read a lot about argan oil and was excited to try it out. I have used many other kinds oils for body and beauty purposes: sweet almond, sesame, coconut, grape seed, olive, baby oil, jojoba, apricot kernel, vitamin E. I do have to say, that in just a couple days, so far, I think I like argan oil the best. I hesitantly applied the argan oil to my face. I was hoping that what all the reviews said were true and that it would not make my face greasy but regulate facial oil production and help clear up scars and blemishes. It absorbed into my face and provided a moisturized but matte finish. There is no added fragrance to this argan oil. The smell of this oil in its unaltered state is a little like a very faint scent of olive oil and vinegar salad dressing. When applied to my dry hair it created as shiny softer texture. So far, I love this. I will write more after a couple of weeks and report how well this argan oil banishes blemishes and scars and repairs dry hair.

great product, and I love the pump dispenser
great product, and I love the pump dispenser, much better than an eyedropper. There's an Ole Henrikson product that is exactly this: rosehip oil, in a pump dispenser. This is way less expensive, for the exact same product.

The best argan oil
I've tried a number of different brands of pure argan oil, and for some reason, this is the most effective I've found. Does a fabulous job of moisturising and of rebalancing the oils in your skin. It's done wonders for occasional eczema too.

Better than any prescription I every used from my skin ...
Used this product for psoriasis on the scalp. Better than any prescription I every used from my skin specialist.Rubbed into scalp and then put on plastic shower cap for a couple of hours. I do a treatment about once a month and have not have any psoriasis breakouts. Greatly recommend.
