Q: 1. Temperature display does not not show fahrenheit? 2. What type of ac adapter does this clock require?

Sorry, the temperature display function can't work normally in Fahrenheit currently, we are still working on this because of software bug, hope you could understand. This clock can work at USB ac adapter.

Q: how do I turn off the cycle? Mine did not come with a remote.
