Well written book helpful if you already know the basics of ABG's give a different and quick approach

straight and to the point! Love it! Very informative

The concept is already a difficult one to grasp, and the first 20 pages I must have read 4 times and still felt at times that I was going round and round in circles. There is some great information in here, but you need to start out with advanced knowledge. I thought to use this book to refresh. It’s much more complicated than that.

The book is misaligned and formatted wrong, probably due to crappy print job from publisher. Nevertheless, it's a good book to practice "rapid ABG interpretation" provided that you have basic understanding of acid/base disorders. What the heck does BE stand for?
