Pictures
Been reading book while outside it’s cold and rainy. Lots of information and good pictures. Thoroughly enjoying the book and plan to use a lot of the information and also the how to ideas for container gardening.

Gardening Guru’s
This book serves as an instructional of gardening for someone who has no experience gardening. I purchased a standing garden and this book has started me off on the right foot

Excellent information
But the title is deceptive. I figured it was deceptive, but was curious enough to buy it. I'm glad I did. The information presented is accurate, thorough, and easily accessible. Had the title been more accurate, I would have gladly given 5 stars. As it is, I will be recommending this book highly to those who take gardening classes from me.

great organic garden
My wife has to eat only organic not GMO foods. The only was to truly know what your are getting to eat is to grow it your self. No one today has time to work a large garden, so this book shows you how your can grow what you need in limited spaces. There are many innovative ideas presented on how to make use of the space you have. She is using pots and trellis' and window boxes along the deck rail to grow her tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, celery, peppers and squash. I have to say I have never seen her garden look better.

Great for new or older gardeners
I love this book. Lots and lots of helpful pictures and ideas. In the midst of this pandemic, it's nice to focus on my summer garden in a raised bed.

Hurry Up Spring
This was previewed along with some other 3 foot gardening books at the public library. This was priced at more than I usually pay for a book but, I had to have it. I am a visual person. Although I can follow the written directions I prefer to also have the before, during and after pictures to make sure of what it's supposed to look like. I have attended a workshop but was only given black and white photos. Hey, it was free. This spring I will start planting my gardens.

Not what I need but still a great reference for people wanting a small garden!
This wasn't exactly the book I was expecting. I was going for no larger than 3 square feet but after reading this book it seems that the plants mentioned would be better in 9 square feet. It was my mistake not the author. At one time I had planted a 4 foot square garden and it really was too large. However, the author did a fantastic job in explaining how to plant and grow a wide variety of plants and vegetables. He certainly knows his way around a garden. I feel certain that many people can learn a lot from this book.

GREAT BOOK
I really enjoy this book.. I was not a gardener , but when scanning through and ordering other books this book came up.. It looked interesting so I got it .. In a very short space of time it has inspired me to actually go and get timber to build 4 raised beds and order , veg seeds , potato's, onions , garlic , strawberrys and other fruit to grow in them.. . that is worth ten stars..

A waste of time and money
I learnt nothing from reading this book. It tries to do it all and fails. Even the many photos contribute little to learning how to grow fruit and veg in a small space. A very poor guide. Joy Larkcom's tried and tested "grow your own vegetables" or John Harrison's "vegetable growing month by month" do a far better job of helping you grow veg successfully.

Nice hardback book.
Good amount of pictures throughout the book. I bought this for my 9 year old Grand Daughter to encourage her interest in container growing, I'm told she even reads it at bedtime. I call that a good result Grandad.

Nice Enough
It's a nice introduction to vegetable gardening, but the title promises more than it appears to deliver. Lots of lovely photos, but not enough on spacing, rotation and pest etc.

Good book and very helpful
It is very handy gardening book. It has a lot of good ideas (some of which we implemented in our own garden) how to grow your own vegetables in small spaces. It also offers various combinations of which plants go well together too.
