AL REHAB SULTAN
For anyone who's looking for an alternative "aquatic" fragrance for the warmer weather...I have a collection of fragrances that numbers up to 100 bottles. This Al Rehab SULTAN is one of my absolute FAVORITES.It's fresh from the initial spray until the late dry down and the fragrance lasts at least six hours on my skin, much longer on clothing.I'd recommend also purchasing the Al Rehab SULTAN roll on attar oil to supplement this spray fragrance throughout the day.Upon first application, you're greeted with an incredibly fresh blast of citrus and the scent of the lightest oud imaginable. This slowly dries down to scent reminiscent of Wormwood (also known as Artemesia or Sweet Annie) and this stage lasts a good four to five hours.Into the late and final dry down, a beautiful light "white musk" note comes into play. This note lasts for the last few hours on skin.Altogether, this isn't what some people refer to as "nuclear", but it certainly is unique to itself and seems like quality higher than the low price belies. It's also worth noting that this fragrance only improves with maceration, in other words, "wasting" a few sprays and then allowing the bottle to sit in the back of your medicine cabinet or bathroom closet for an indeterminate period of time... Which is why I like to have several bottles on hand at all times.Over the years I've noticed that the longer you let this sit, the more complex and elegant the fragrance getsAnd it this price, even those of us with limited means can afford to do so.Again, though... This Al Rehab SULTAN is incredibly unique. There is only one other fragrance that I've sampled that comes close to the way this smells... And that particular fragrance is made in Arabia and is targeted at the extremely wealthy, as I remember it was over $600 per bottle back in the early 2010s.Unfortunately I can remember the name of it... Because I'm getting old 😂So if you're on the lookout for a new "freshie" that's completely different from what's currently available, I can't recommend this Al Rehab SULTAN enough!Cheers
