My crabs were very well packaged and both came alive and active. One of them immediately switched shells and the actual crab colors are beautiful! I just got them today, but everything was flawless. The polished shells are beautiful as well and they come with food and soaking salt. I would definitely buy from them again! The crabs were also a nice size and ready to explore as soon as I unboxed them.

Totally disappointed. Not only were both hermit crabs dead but the wood was so small. The dead crabs were out of their shells and smelling horrible. The shipping was longer then said time and was about 9 days.

So I ordered three logs for my hermit crab tank that I was setting up and had not bought any hermit crabs yet the logs are so tiny and I was upset about the logs they are are about as long as my my palm to my fingers so just my palm area and they're about as skinny as my finger but when I opened my package I was super surprised to see a hermit crab inside cuz I did not read the title correctly when I purchased the logs. When I noticed there was a hermit crab in the package I was shaking I was so sad with fear that it might be dead but this little baby actually made the trip and I live in the desert so to my surprise I have a baby hermit now I did want to return the log but there's no way in hell I'm going to put this baby through drama being mailed back and it is so cute this little Hermie and so tiny very very active.

These didn't even last a month and they're dead and yes we took care of them. We have a 10 gallon tank with calcium sand made for hermit crabs and deep enough for them to dig, wet the sponge a couple times a day to make sure they had water and they had a heated pad under the tank. Refund or Replacement was denied!

Been alive for 2 months!! It’s been fun!

Received 2 hermit crabs, 1 very active and the other my 9 year old thinks is dead. The only way to tell if he's alive was by putting the sponge in his claw which the crab eventually clamped down on. That crab has been lethargic for almost 2 days, until finally deciding to come out of his shell. I hope they survive! I'm heartbroken the way they were tightly wrapped in paper stuffed in a small container with a sponge covering their hole. They've been unable to move for the last 4-5 days! Why not ship these crabs next day or overnight for those high shipping costs being charged. The sponges were dry from the paper soaking up all the water. I immediately gave them a drink and food! They were thirsty! So far it seems they love their big beach set up with sand, waterfalls, moss, plants and much room to roam with plenty of food and water. After owning many for several dozen years, I've come to learn that these hermit crabs are very intelligent. They will let you know when they're not happy or doing good. For the reviews saying a crab arrived dead, please make sure this is the case. The crabs are so scared and had experienced an awful past however long days, that they don't move from out of their shell for awhile. The paper surrounding them was so tightly wrapped, I had to use scissors to peel it away from them. I really hope these crabs are well taken care of before being shipped all over the country. Unfortunately, by the way they were tightly stuffed in a container, it doesn't seem like they are.
