Sturdy and good looking with minor fitament issues.
2016 Honda CRF 250Not such a perfect fit. Had some difficulty with getting the two back screws started even though the front two were still loose. There are two hex tools that came with the motorcycle. The larger one is used to install or remove the factory tie downs (and seat) while the smaller one is the size needed for the hardware supplied with this rack.. I think most will find it difficult to use this tool to install the rack, which means you will want to get another hex tool that will attach to a ratchet to make the installion of this rack easier.Once I had the rack installed and everything tight, I removed the seat to see how much of an issue it would be to access my papers (insurance and registration) which I keep under the seat. Seat removal was easy enough, but I found that to reinstall the seat, I had to lossen the rear rack screws to get the seat screws back in. It was time consuming and difficult with the L hex wrench. Needless-to-say, I now carry those papers in my jacket.I haven't seen another rack like this, only larger racks that I don't think look as good and would make getting on and off the bike more difficult.. With that said, I still would have purchased this for the price I paid, but if the price were any higher, I would have to pass.Overall the rack is a nice addition to the CRF250. Feels sturdy and looks really good! It gives me something to hold onto when trying to move the bike around and of course a place to carry stuff.FYI - I posted a question prior to purchaing this product as to whether or not it made getting on or off the bike more difficult. I am 5'10" and the bike is already high for me (I sit with tip toes on the ground). Getting on and off might be just a bit more difficult, but if something is on the rack, it is definitly harder. I put the kickstand down, stand on the left foot peg, then throw my leg over the load to get on and off.

Very sturdy and fit perfectly.
It fit great, and I love the sturdiness and design. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because there was a tiny piece of metal on the inside of one of the welded bars that got trapped inside there, and I can hear trickling back and forth when I tilt the rack. Quite annoying. Otherwise I'm happy with the rack's functionality.Note: this doesn't come with a hex key to tighten the new bolts, so you will need to have your own hex keys on hand. The hex key size to install the rack were slightly larger than the stock Honda bolts, so it's best to have a hex key set and use the corresponding size to remove the stock bolts and install the new bolts. Took me about 25 minutes from start to finish, carefully assessing the instructions.

Works as advertised.
Shipping wasn't too long. Came as advertised mostly and product appears quite sturdy and I was happy to find that it wasn't overly heavy. It really adds another dimension to the bike and even a hand-hold while moving the bike as well as acting as a luggage rack. Perfect size for a small duffel or 1 gallon rotopax. It was a perfect fit. My only issue was that I either lost (truly cannot find it) the longer rear spacer when I opened the package or it was just not supplied. This was easily remedied by a quick trip to home depot.

Good product at a fair price
Good product at a fair price. Shipping took less than 4 days from CA to MS. All others online wanted $100 for a little bit of metal tubing painted black. A lot of reviews said it wasn't a perfect fit but I didn't have any trouble installing it. Just don't tighten up the bolts until you have all 4 bolts started. And yes it's 3 short bolts and 1 long bolt. If you read the directions the long bolt goes on the rear left side along with the longer spacer. It's light weight and very low profile. Just what I was looking for. Not sure what the weight capacity is but seems sturdy.

Quality product, that clearly has some thought put into it, and feels very durable.
Just finished installing mine, and am very pleased with the rear rack. The install was easy with the supplied mounting hardware, and has a quality feel from fit to finish. The steel is welded very well, and the black powder coating is very thick and well done. It does not interfere with any of the mounting holes what so ever.I choose not to mount the rear tie down bolts back into the rack, but love that they included the hardware and instructions to do so.Overall this is a very well built unit, and I feel confident when I use it to lift the back of the bike. I used blue locktight on the mounting hardware to ensure it does not vibrate loose, although it felt very secure when bolting it on.

2018 CRF 250L
What a pleasant surprise when this arrived three days ahead of scheduled delivery. The rack is light weight, but very sturdy. The instructions were very clear. Just make sure you use the longer black spacer and the longer bolt on left rear mount. The rack itself is low profile and has a sleek look. I am 5'8 and have no problems clearing the rack when lifting my leg to get on or off bike. Now all I have to do is decide what brand tail bag I want to mount on the rack.

Rack looked great w/made in America sticker
Rack looked great w/made in America sticker. Fit was poor, don't know what they used for a jig in manufacturing. I put it on a brand new 0.8 miles 2016 CRF250L so the bike should have been straight. The rear of the rack frame was too wide or spacers too short, 1/8 on right 3/16 on left, too much to cinch down. I took some tubing and made longer spacers. Front was also wide too much for 1 washer and not enough for 2 washers, used 1 on one side and 2 on other. Center to center measurement from front mounts to rear mount is too short I elongated rear holes so I could get all 4 bolts started. The rack is so stout for you to bend or tweak for better alignment. Now that it is on, to remove seat you take out seat bolts but also have to loosen rear bolts to get everything tweaked enough to reinstall seat bolts. Also your bike comes w/2 metric allen wrenches in tool box, the bolts for the rack are another size so if you anticipate ever having to get under your seat in the field you better carry a third size allen wrench with you. On the positive side, rack looks and functions great after all the BS. Maybe they should send it to Japan or China for fabrication.
