Great MoBo so far
When I bought this I did not realize it was "used", an oversight on my own behalf. It did arrive in like-new condition, but without the original packaging, manual, etc .. but no biggies, just download manual from the manufacturers site.So far it's running great after a bios flash and everything is as expected. If I have an issue contrary to this in the future, I'll revise but so far, a great purchase!

Excellent for the price, but some very minor issues came up.
I bought this motherboard because I was rebuilding most of my PC into a new case for better air flow so I wouldn't worry about temperatures. This was the only fairly priced motherboard that would work with my CPU (an i7 4770, a 4th gen Intel i7 processor).First and foremost, I bought mine from A-Z Lounge and it while I cannot verify if it is truly "New condition", it is packaged very well. It is also a genuine motherboard, you can check that by going onto the Asus website, make an account, and register the product. So, as far as I know it is New condition because it didn't say it was already registered, so that is good.Second, my old issues with this product are: I got a fatal error when booting up from my old HDD the first time. I just turned it off, went into the BIOS options, and made sure the HDD was there and connected. After that, it booted BUT it needed to repair Windows because it needed the correct BIOS drivers. My screens also went solid pink and became unusable the first few times I used the PC, to fix this you must install the latest drivers (go to GeForce experience application for Nvidia). Otherwise, if that fails, your CPU or GPU (or their cables) are having issues. So these were fixable issues, but irritating and stressful nonetheless.Third, my boot time was cut in half. I was not the most pleased because this motherboard has a "lesser" chipset than my last one. This motherboard cannot utilize Intel Rapid Storage Technology; however, it does feel much faster than my last motherboard. The BIOS time went from 14.6 seconds to 7.2 seconds, which is very nice. The B85 chipset does not support overclocking, but it is still a good chipset.Fourth, installing the motherboard and getting it in the right spot in the case with the IO shield was a bit of a pain in the butt, but it worked out so no harm no foul. But just know I needed someone to apply a bit of pressure to force it into the right spot so all screw holes could be filled.Fifth, this motherboard does NOT come with screws. Screws typically come with the case. But screw holes are mostly standardized so you can reuse old ones. Putting the cables into the motherboard was a breeze though. This motherboard also does not support RGB, but the CoolerMaster H500 ARGB case had an adapter which, while you cannot control the colors with the motherboard, still allows the colors to work and change if you open the side panel and click the button. If you don't plug in the colors the fans will still work. All in all, this motherboard is VERY good for the price. I play League of Legends and Valorant and it works fine. It was also the most fairly priced motherboard in "New" condition I could find that would work with my Intel i7 4770. The only reason it is 4/5 and not 5/5 is the IO shield and light technical issues at the start. I will update this review as I keep working and using it, but so far so good!

BEST LGA 1500 motherboard (if you can still find them)
I do a lot of computer repair. Anytime someone wants me to build them an older computer -- THIS IS MY GO TO MOTHERBOARD EVERY TIME -- it works flawlessly and LASTS FOREVER. ( I currently own 3 of these boards. )

Good replacement
My son's desktop started shutting down randomly, and we traced the issue to a failing motherboard. Since it was still doing everything he needed and we didn't want to pay for a new PC, we got this replacement motherboard instead, and moved the old CPU and RAM over. A minor issue is that the instructions were all in Japanese, but I was able to find the English user manual on line and the installation was a success. We loaded the USB 3.0 drivers from the disk provided, and that fixed the last piece. The only problem left was convincing Microsoft that we didn't steal a copy of Win10, finally had to talk to a human for that.A good motherboard for my son's 4th gen i7 and 24GB RAM, we're happy.

Avoid this motheboard
Even though the manufacturer claims that Intel i7 Core CPU chip is supported, it isn't -unless you update the BIOS; then, it may work occasionally. You are presumed to know that their BIOs needs to be flashed, as well as addition drivers to be downloaded in order to support certain CPU, like i7 4th Gens. The board will crash on you with a few hours of use, no video, and will be rendered useless; as you cannot readily reset the BIOs or CMOS to reboot to default. It does not pass POST and will become a brick... it has been my misfortune twice --this is the second and last M/B of this model that i will purchase. Having to return it after less than 3 weeks of partial usage. Look for another LGA 1150 MB with a different Chipset.

Motherboard look's nice w/ 7.1 audio for HTPC backend or desktop
Be aware:* If using two sticks of RAM, place in every other slot per manual* Per manual, slot IRQ for PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 and first PCIe 2.0 x1 is shared. If using a standalone graphics card and another CARD like a 10K NIC use second PCIe 2.o x1 slot in lieu of first to avoid throttling conflict.* For speed, SSDs should be attached to SATA6 connector not SATA3* If RMA needed (you have a problem) since this is a Japanese board (Manual in Japanese)and return shipping will be issue for Americans since this is a Japanese motherboard (should indicate this on website).

Good LGA 1150 board
It's hard to find a good LGA 1150 board in 2020, but if you have a good CPU and DDR3 RAM there is no need to spend a lot of money replacing them. The good points:It has four RAM slots and has room for a full-size graphics card.It seems well made.BIOS was the newest version. It can be overclocked with an unlocked CPU.The bad:It is made for the Japanese market and the manual was in Japanese only. You can download the English version. It only has 2 fan connectors including the CPU fan.
