Hertz Audio HSK 165XL (HSK165XL) 6.5" Hi-Energy 2-Way Component Speaker System

So i changed from haveing focal polyglass v30's to these. These are brighter in everyway. Mids are punchy but not warm. You will have to run a subwoofer with these in your system. But they are nice and loud. I used an o-scope to set mine and theyre handling 175watts to each side. I gave 4 stars becauze if you do not plan on running a subwofer you may not like these, since there is not much on the low end.

First time experience with hertz. Awesome set that is clearly quality constructed. Sound quality is great and tweeters are very clear. Great power handling capacity. I am very pleased and will continue to use hertz in the future.

I have been running a pair of these for about 2 years in a ford f350 super duty work truck. I am powering them with a large ROCKFORD PUNCH 800.2. They are so nice for the money. I have run many speaker set ups over the years since the mid 90's. At this price point there is nothing on the market that beats the great mid bass these put out. The tweeters are a little bright but you can adjust the output to match the woofer in the beautiful crossovers depending on where you mount the tweeter. Before these I had the high energy non XL version and was very happy with those but these are more efficient and have more punch to blend with your subs better. The tweeter is also smoother sounding and is slightly larger.
