Well done Komelon
Great. This reminds me of the tape measures of my youth. Strong thick tape. Will hold itself up a long way out. You don't need a big fat tape if it's built correctly. Also nice and heavy in the hand, feels like quality. Retract is spring strength is just right. Doesn't whip around but comes back in at a good clip.If there is any negative it's that the case is plastic. Feel like good strong plastic, you can't deform the case even by pressing really hard on it with your hands. Feels like the case might break if dropped but I can't tell for sure. It hasn't happened.I bought two, I'll probably buy a couple more for my other tool boxes. So nice to have both metric and imperial measurements on one tape.

I wish the cm print was bigger
Inches are still in a much bigger type, so my son is still looking at the inch markings. Not helpful in child metrification attempts.Tape itself is sturdy and the finish is really nice to the touch—it’s more of a matte/satin than the typical glossy tapes.

Smooth
I bought a few of these for a classroom math project, so my experience may be different from those hoping to use it on a daily basis. I liked the fact that it was reasonably priced and also has metric units on it. The tape retraction is smooth and the nylon tape feels a lot better than the older metal ones I used to use which would crinkle loudly. I can't comment on the durability since I've only used them for one project, but it seems pretty well constructed.

Includes metric!
It's surprising how rare it is to find a tape measure with both imperial and metric units. This is a nice quality tool with a wide easy to read blade, a study lock and smooth return.

Love it
I am not a professional handyman, just a stay at home mom who happens to need to measure various things on a regular basis. I love the size of this and appreciate the material of the actual tape. It's not a piece of sharp metal as other tapes I've had so doesn't freak me out that someone is going to get cut on it (a phobia I have had with past tape measures). It just seems like a really good quality item that I'll have for a long time.

Not Komelon's Best Model
Smooth operation. Feels fine in the hand. Clear markings. Lock is not the easiest to operate. Komelon makes better models than "The Professional."

Feels reasonably sturdy, though certainly not the sturdiest feeling tape measure I've ever handled. Nice, clear markings. Can be a little hard to see markings very near the body of the tape measure. No points off for it as it's not the problem of the product itself, but the packaging is a nightmare.

Quality that will last a lifetime.
Made from good material. Little bit of weight because of its quality. Provides both cm and inch. Lock mechanism works lovely. May be the last tape measure I will ever purchase.

For its price its worth it.
I work in the wettest city in Canada, 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week. 6/7 days a week it rains, and when it rains here it pours. We are wet all day long and have no time to dry our tapes. At the end of a long 12 hour shift in the pouring rain, we just want to get home, so sometimes we dont even dry our tapes off at the end of the day. My tapes get covered in muck, concrete, rain, salt water, epoxy and all kinds of other stuff, they really dont last long.I've been through a dozen tapes since the summer and have tried many different kinds.Benchmark, Rona, Mastercraft, Lufkin, Stanley, Fat Max, Milwaukee, Ox, etc. Tried them all, all crap for the price I paid. The only Tape that lasted long was the Fat Max, but those are $25+. I'm pleasantly surprised this tape has last this long for the little I paid for it.This tape though, this tape has lasted me quite some time yet, and for the price I paid, that says something. I may have a new tape.

Good for light duty applications
Great while it lasted, but the lock gave out within a year of use. Also a little floppy. Using a Stanley fatmax now and although it doesn't have metric, which I would enjoy, I still like it better.

I'm no tape connoisseur but it does everything I need it to do and it has the reputation to be durable.
