Strings seem strong, but sound remains a bit off
The strings look solid, but tuning to my son's guitar is a bit of a challenge. I'm sure it's not the strings fault considering the guitar is a beginner's design.

Very good for the price
The media could not be loaded. It's pretty incredible to get 5 packs of strings for such a low price. The wrapping on these individual strings is pretty nice too, considering that they tell you which string you are opening. Putting them on the acoustic was a breeze. And there was even a small amount of string added after I wrapped them around the post a few times, even on the 3rd and 4th string. There's not too much extra to work with, but seems to be on par with other strings. In terms of quality of sound, this is the only reason I downgraded it to 4 stars. In my opinion, the quality of sound is one of the most important factors in whether or not to buy a guitar product. If it doesn't sound good, it doesn't matter how cheap it is, and sometimes if it sounds perfect, it justifies something really expensive. I'm certainly not say that more money equals higher quality though either, there's plenty of evidence that budget friendly items can rival their more expensive counterparts. So, in my opinion the sound on these is "good" but not "excellent". They certainly have a new string "sound", but it is not as sparkly as you might hope. They are good, don't get me wrong, and the price certainly doesn't hurt. Other brands might give you a bit more "fresh" sound from a new set of strings. So, there's nothing wrong with these, but if you feel that you need a more pristine sound, you might need to spend a few extra bucks. If you are the person who hasn't changed their acoustic strings in the past decade, these are probably going to be perfect. For feel, these felt new, but didn't have as much silkiness as you feel on some other newer strings. Not a huge deal, but it's always nice to have strings that sound new and "play" new too. To reiterate, these felt new, but just didn't have as much gliding smoothness to them. So, overall, these are quite good for the price, and perfectly sufficient for my needs. But, I could see someone wanting to spend a little more for a more pristine sound. Most of my critiques of these are minor, so if you don't need to amazing strings and are fine with good sets of strings, these are probably going to be just fine for you too.

Solid budget acoustic strings
If you need some low-budget steel-string acoustic strings, these seem perfectly fine, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better price for five packs of strings! These aren’t going to win any awards as the best strings you’ve ever put on your vintage Martin, mind you, but in my situation, I run a lending program that includes acoustic guitars that people can borrow, and these are a great solution to the costs of maintaining those guitars with fresh strings more often. They’re only available in super-light gauge at the moment, so consider that these are 10s, compared to the usual 12s or 13s that most folks put on acoustic guitars. But again, for my purposes, this is actually preferable, as they’re easier for beginners and young folks to play. And if you’re a relatively new guitar player but finding that you don’t play much because your fingers hurt, you might like these, too! It’s certainly worth a try for the low cost of entry. It’s hard to say from the product description and vowel-less brand if you’ll get the same packaging that I did, but in my case, what arrived are five packs branded as “King Lion” guitar strings. Looking inside the package, the trebles look like plain steel, and the bass strings look to be 80/20 bronze. They’re numbered 1-6 for quick identification, and individually packed. The packs remind me of strings for middle eastern instruments like the baglama, a little more tightly wound in the packages than most guitar string packs.Anyway, so far, so good! For the amazing price, I’m going to keep some more on hand.
