AbasiPathos Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal (ABASIPATHOS)

Its my first distortion but my fourth 'drive' pedal. The build quality is great, and I like the soft touch button, its easy to use and you don't have to stomp down on it. I have two very different guitars (a les paul standard and a custom telecaster) and so the three man EQ was a must. The les paul shines with this pedal, as you can boost treble to crazy highs. I like the level of Gain, it feels smooth, or sharp depending on what I want. This pedal is badass and you should get one, its versatile.

This thing is awesome. I used to have an mxr fullbore metal pedal, where I would boost the mids into my orange micro terror.It was a very specific sound, and when the pedal started to go, it was heartbreaking because I didn't know if I would be able to find a pedal I would like more.After much searching, I found this one. It is so amazingly versatile, that it took forever to get the tone just right.However, it does what my old pedal did, but far better. When I finally dialed in the tone I wanted, it was a glorious moment. The sound seemed euphoric to me. (And still does.)I recommend this petal to anyone looking for a new metal pedal. You can cut the distortion back, and it sounds as smooth as butter while keeping that great crunch.Or, you can turn on the aggression switch, and roll back the distortion to get this amazing, aggressive sound.And if you simply want all the distortion, this has it in spades.So happy I bit the bullet and bought it.

Best all around hard rock to metal pedal on the market!! Best if used with a electron harmonix 9volt power supply and also use with Clean channel tube amp is the best!!

I was excited for his but then kind of disappointed.It’s a good Pedal but it’s not what I thought it was gonna be.I would return it but it seems to be a decent overdrive pedal for metal.I have better but I like to have diff kinds so it’ll stay in my collection.

I bought this pedal just to try it out and I absolutely love it. It doesn’t sound like any other distortion pedal I’ve used. This thing has a ton of gain and the EQ knobs are very sensitive, allowing you to really dial in the tone you’re looking for. I don’t personally have any complaints but I will say that this pedal has a very specific modern metal sound, which is what I was looking for, but if you’re looking for a pedal that offers classic rock tones or really any other classic distortion tones then this probably isn’t the pedal for you. It’s strictly a modern high gain/output chug box.

It chugs hard!! Super high gain and in my opinion one of the best sounds you can get out of any pedal out there. Highly recommend picking one up!

I really wanted to like this pedal. I watched as many online reviews as I could, and they all sounded great! Unfortunately, when I ran it through my Orange combo, it was just way too dark. I tried through the front of the amp and through the effects return (definitely better through the return), however, I found if I dialed it in for a decent lead tone, then my chords were too muddy, and if I dialed it in for a decent rhythm, then my leads were too shrill, thin, and fizzy. Maybe with a different amp...? I think it's made well, and probably great in the right environment; unfortunately, not for me. On a side note...this is a major issue today. We're stuck with online demos of things like this where the person reviewing it is most likely playing it through a super high-end rig, which is mic'd and running through SOMETHING which is most likely coloring the tone. I don't doubt the quality of this pedal at all - the button and potentiometers all operated very smoothly, and the unit is solid.
