Great high impact bra at low price point!
Over the years I've had all kinds of sports bras from medium to high impact, and from low to high prices. This bra is a solid option especially at this price point. I am a 36C and I would definitely recommend the large. To me it seems to run small based on their own sizing chart. If you are 38D, I'd go with the XL. If you were bigger than that, I probably wouldn't use these and I try a more expensive brand. I've never found a super comfortable high support sports bra. They just aren't, no matter the price or brand. I have other expensive brands like zyia (very restrictive, flattening, and tough to pull over your head) and she-fit (easier to get on and works great, but pretty uncomfortable). This one is pretty good though! It's restrictive enough to hold you in place well, not so uncomfortable you want to rip it off! They also last forever. I work out almost every day and I have worn and washed these over and over again. I would agree with other reviewers that this type of bra can be a slight struggle to get on because you have to pull it over your head. I have four or five of these bras and use them for most activities like aerobics or volleyball and I used to run in them. If I'm hiking, I typically go with a lower support more comfortable option.

Practical, functional sports bra that an endurance runner can rely on mile after mile
TL;DR: Great budget sports bra that does its job wellBackground:I have recently began training for a marathon. As a result of all of my running, I've lost some weight. (Yay!) However, there was an unintended casualty of the weight loss: my boobs. ***a moment of silence for all boobs lost during our fitness journeys*** I definitely lost some size and needed some new sports bras. Being a life-long Angel, I headed to Victoria's Secret to get sized and pick out some new ones. Well, I am now a 34D and found a few in store that I liked, but I just could not stomach the price. I left empty-handed and scouted here on Amazon. I came across these and liked the styling and the price. I ordered a large based on the sizing guide.Initial Review:My initial thoughts were that the fabric at the sides of the bra (the part that goes under your arm) is a bit thin. There is very little padding in the cups, at least compared to my (now former) VS Incredible and Ultimate bras. I was a bit concerned that with the fabric and padding being so thin, I wouldn't get the support I needed during my runs. The cups were a tiny bit larger than I would have liked. There was a little room at the top of the cup when I put it on. The band was comfortable, although I am on the first set of hooks, so if I get any smaller in circumference, I'll need to go down a size. The thick, adjustable straps felt very sturdy without digging into my shoulders. To be honest, I felt probably could have gone to a medium as I like my sports bras to be snug, almost to the point of squeezing. Overall, I had my concerns about the thin fabric and padding and it's ability to support me, but I was ready to run and give this a shot. The Test:I used the bra during an 8 mile steady-pace run. To my slight surprise, the bra performed well, just as well as my VS bras. The bra moved with my movements; never once did it pinch or chafe. No obvious bouncing. (I mean, there's always going to be a little movement, but I didn't feel like they were bouncing like two energetic monkeys bouncing in a cage.) I felt comfortable and supported throughout my entire run. Granted it was a cool evening, but I did feel like the bra wicked away what little sweat I had. The "mesh"/ventilated fabric kept me cool even to the last mile. I was not sore after my run nor were any "sensitive areas" irritated. ;)Final Verdict:While this bra lacks the "sexiness" of the VS sports bras, it performs just as well as they do. It is a practical, functional sports bra that an endurance runner can rely on mile after mile. As a 34D, I would probably order a medium, but that's due to personal preference of snugness of the band and cups; the large was comfortable and supportive for my size. I will definitely be ordering a few more in different colors. I am very happy with this bra.Update (3/16/18): I found and purchased a medium size of these at Burlington Coat Factory (on sale too!), and it had more of the "squeeze" that I am used to. The cups were more of an appropriate size as well (no extra room at the top). However, I am on the final (inner-most) hooks, so if I gain any circumference, it would be uncomfortable. I wore the medium during a 5 mile club run, and it performed just as well as the large as described above. It was a bit tighter, but still no chafing or pinching. So, in regards to size, it seems like a 34D could either fit in a medium or a large, just depending on how "packed in" a person would like to feel.

Great bra design with stitching issue
I am rather picky about my bras, and this was a great find: good support, fits well, and the quality of the elastic seems good. I was looking for something that looks like a more traditional bra particularly the straps, but still has the fit of a compression bra, and this seems to work well. The closures in the back are easy to fasten and allow adjustment to get the perfect fit.The one issue I had was that some of the stitching came undone along a seam. It looks like it was stitched too close to the edge, and so the seam between the cups just pulled through the fabric the second time I wore it. Luckily I have some sewing skills and was able to stitch it up in about 10 minutes and no problems since. I can imagine there might be others out there who do not want to deal with this though. It is possible it was a one off issue, as this brand usually is good quality. For me, it was not a deal breaker, and overall I think the inconvenience of the repair is outweighed by the fact that this has high impact level support with elastic straps which I was hoping to find. This bra will have enough support for jogging and also a style suitable for everyday use.

BEST BRAS EVER.
oh my gosh. I've tried MANY different sports bras.... from really cheap to super expensive. With cheap ones they never seemed to give support.... with expensive ones I got crazy support but it came at a price of a pretty much a pancake chest and there's always weird lines running through the middle of the bras so they don't look nice under shirts. I also would take the bra off as soon as I was done working out because it just wasn't that comfortable. I bought these bras based on the reviews but truthfully I wasn't expecting anything. I tried them on and agreed they were definitely cute... plus no lines running through the middle so they look nice under shirts. but the kicker is of course using it for an actual workout. I used these bras with my beach body workouts... from lifting to cardio and I gotta say... I'M TOTALLY IN LOVE. They give amazing support while still giving you a nice looking chest. The adjustable straps are fantastic. I loved these bras so much I bought 5 more right away so now I have 6 of these sports bras :(one for each day of the week that I workout). The most favorite sports bra i've EVER owned. I've also kept them on all day long at times because they are seriously that comfortable. Would highly recommend!Side note, when I started using them I was a 34DD but as I continued my intense workout program I'm now a 34D and they still are amazing. I've been using size Large and they are perfect.
