Peeling is now a dream
Find peeling potatoes difficult since arthritis in fngers got worse. This peeler is brilliant, peeling now so easy, blade very sharp, and gives thin peel so no waste. Have had the same design before but not very good, this brand proves you need to choose well.

This peeler works great. I already had a cheap version I got free from BJ's that looks similar, so I was hesitant to buy, but it was recommended by ATK, so I went ahead and I am glad. This thing performs admirably. I made peeling several pounds of potatoes really easy, something the cheap one does not do. I have only peeled potatoes and carrots thus far, but I will no longer be too lazy to peel veggies for recipes as I used to, as using the cheap knock off or a paring knife could be tedious. In short, it works great and makes peeling a breeze. On a side note, do not put in the dishwasher. I did by accident, and after running it and cleaning it out the next day, I noticed the metal blade had rusted. Luckily, it was easy to clean off and is back to work. It is easy enough to clean without putting it in the dishwasher, so not really an issue. The blade is metal and the handle is plastic- and yet it works to perfection. It is a cheap tool and great time saver, so I definitely recommend.

Got it last week. Used it a few times. Works fine but i thought the blade would be sharper. It is on par with my old one which is around 20 years old. Bit of a letdown but still nice for the price

No other peeler compares. This is the absolute best. I finally replaced my 54-year-old original. I give these for stocking stuffers.

I saw this peeler tested on America's Test Kitchen, where it was rated #1 out of many. After using it myself, I can see why. It's incredibly sharp and glides through peels effortlessly, without cutting too deeply into the vegetable. It makes clean, thin cuts and is a joy to use. I love it!

I have owned and used one of these peelers for a few years now. I love how they feel and they can peel a potato very well. I have one at home and I have a couple at work. They are great for at home, but they can't handle heavy use everyday in a restaurant for too long. The peeler I have at home has lasted me a few years and is still very sharp. There is no rust and the plastic and blade are in pretty much the same condition as when I received it.(almost new appearance). I am confident that this peeler should last me for some time to come. I also keep a backup around just in case. At the restaurant these peelers are still great. I have not used a peeler that peels potatoes as good as this. They can not handle hard skin and large items very well though. Large Sweet potatoes and eggplant are little too much for this peeler. They also rust and break after a couple of months of use. I have not seem many of these last longer than a year at work. Some have even broke within a month of use. About 95% of peelers are of the same quality and will break or be useless within a few months. Most peelers I buy that are not Kuhn Rikon simply will not peel anything. This peeler is so cheap and useful at work that nobody minds buying them. I will always have one around no matter if its at work or at home. If want a peeler that is more durable and will peel larger items like sweet potatoes and eggplant then get a Kuhn Rikon piranha. This peeler is better for potatoes.
