Love this little trimmer for nose and ear hairs. I won't get into trying to wax these hairs, I did a review on that years ago, NOT fun. This works much better, and at least for my hairy ears and nose this style and the way the cutter is oriented works much better than the other typical cone shaped ones. This one gets it trimmed closer and cleaner!!

First, the less-than-five-star rating is not due to a product deficiency; it's just because of the included accessory case. This is a great machine, with more metal than plastic, a knurled metal handle for a secure grip, and a more comfortable nosehair cutter than other devices I've tried. The razor and eyebrow combs (3mm & 5mm) are still a learning curve for me, so I'll keep quiet on those. What about the missing star? As you will read, the device is loud in and around the ears; workable, but exceptional. The included accessory case is good quality, but oddly, it offers no elastic strapping to hold the device and its accessories in place. That said, I travel a lot and am accustomed to a pencil-sized device that is usually inexpensive and only marginally acceptable. As a guitar player, I also carry a nail kit. This accessory case will allow me to combine both uses, even if everything rattles a bit inside.

It’s so loud I was initially afraid to stick it in my nose, but once I took the leap it worked quite well. The design of the cutting head is terrific for getting into that spot right at the tip of my nose, and I felt no pulling anywhere at all. This device is such a good value, I might get another one for backup.

Best nose hair trimmer on the market. I've tried 5 other brands that didn't work well. This does a great job. Well worth the price. Wish I would have tried this one first!

Battery life on this trimmer is wild, I use it 2.5 years and it still works like in first day. So glad I got this one, trims very clean. I guess need to get a backup.

I ordered the metal version because I didn't really want a cheap plastic product; sadly, I was quite disappointed. The metal case is actually just a very thin aluminum sleeve over a plastic housing, and I've seen scores of small, cheap aluminum-body flashlights that have far more substantial and better made aluminum housings. The end-cap, which serves as both the battery cap and a rotating on-off switch, is a very thin aluminum cap fitted over a plastic cap; all the friction parts are plastic, and will surely wear and fail in short order. And the nose-hair attachment - which I expected to be stainless steel, is - shades of the 1960's - cheap, crudely done, chrome-plated plastic! And, again, all of the friction parts holding it to the body are plastic, so will easily wear. So, the overall build quality leaves much to be desired. As for cutting nose hair, the uniquely-shaped cutting head seems to work fairly well, easily removing hair from some areas that are tough to get to with scissors. That said, two things deserve mention. First, be very gentle and careful when using it, as in my experience it can definitely cut/scrape the inside of the nose and make a blody mess. And, second, get ready for the smell of burning hair during use, as evidently grinding up hair in the cutting head does something along that line. The set comes with a zippered eyeglass-type case to keep everything together.

I’ve had several nose hair trimmers over the years and this is by far the best. It’s about the size of a magic marker, the switch is on the bottom (twist - you won’t accidentally turn it off) and it works great. It has some heft, runs at a high speed and cuts great.

I have been using Braun for a couple years, after first trying out my uncle's. I have always noticed that it had a harder time getting all the nose hairs, especially longer ones. So I tried the ConairMan just for comparison, seeing its design was different. I used Conair right after using the Braun, and Conair not only got hair missed by the Braun, but did it very quickly. To be fair my Braun is almost 2 years old so the blades are less sharp, but I remember this annoyance at it taking a longer time and missing some follicles for quite a while, so I think the difference is due to razor design
