Hydrating sheer color! No-Mirror needed to apply! WILL BUY AGAIN!
I purchased the Revlon Lip butter in PINK TRUFFLE, I have light tan skin and it looks wonderful on me! Don't let "pink" in the name scare you, it is a medium-sheer coverage, and more of a nude-pink that isn't too bright! (it may look brighter pink on women of color however) This lives up to its name as it gives my lips a wonderful buttery feeling and a gorgeous shine! It is easily applicable without a mirror so I keep one on my desk at work and one in my purse so I can use it anytime anywhere (at a stop-light, the beach etc.) I also love how hydrating it feels! I wanted a chap stick but something pigmented that gave my lips a bit of shine too and this turned out to be EXACTLY what I was looking for! My lips feel so smooth when I wear this. It isn't sticky or bad tasting. SHIPPING was quick and it came packaged and sealed nicely. It even held up in a hot mailbox for a day without melting everywhere! (Although I wouldn't do so intentionally for longer!) I will ABSOLUTELY BUY THIS AGAIN!!! I want one for home, work, and in my purse on the go!

Gorgeous color!
My favorite shade of lipstick, hands-down! I have medium golden brown hair, dark brown eyes, and am really pale in the winter (British mom), and tan easily in the summer (Italian dad), and this peachy-pink-with flecks of gold hue looks fab year-round! It's also fairly moisturizing, which I love, but it does transfer easily. So, don't put this on before drinking that cup of coffee, or you may not have any on afterwards! My one qualm: If my lips are dry at all and have any flakiness prior to applying this, it almost feels grainy when I put it on. It's like it enhanced the flakiness. I don't know if it's whatever the gold flecks are made of, or what, but that one's a con for me. (Btws, the gold flecks I'm mentioning are micro-sized, so don't worry - you def won't look like you smeared glitter on your pout!) All in all, the shade is such a flattering, subtly lovely, you-but-better kinda color that I do recommend this!

Love it! Too bad it’s discontinued
Beautiful product! Revlon is my favorite lipstick brand for the sheer buttery formulas. There’s just one problem: Revlon has two products (this lip butter and a lipstick) that have the same name: Pink Truffle. I’ve tried googling to find out if they were the same, but couldn’t find an answer. So I took one for the team so to speak. I bought both products (have tried the butter before and fell in love with it) and have compared them in these pictures. 1 is the square lip butter that has been discontinued, and 2 is the lipstick. My opinion is that the butter is more sheer, while the lipstick is more of a solid. Hopefully this will help someone. *UPDATE 10/19/2020* I have found a product with the color of the lipstick, but more of a glossy balm like this lip butter! The product is Canmake stay on rouge balm number 16, Earl Grey Tea. If you like the lipstick but want a more buildable product with the hydration of a balm, I highly suggest trying the Canmake. The price is around $7. For referencing in the picture, I am fair skinned with cool undertones. C= Canmake (left) LB= lip butter pink truffle (center) L= lipstick pink truffle (right) Unfortunately I still haven’t found a close dupe for the butters color. It’s a really lovely color, much more of a berry than the lipstick, which is more brown. :(

MLBB!
This is the first Revlon lip butter I've purchased and I can't say it's my HG but it certainly does the job. The balm comes in very nice tube packaging, it feels sturdy and has a sleek look to it. Being more of a chapstick girl I almost feel awkward putting this on in public since it definitely looks more like lipstick. Not a pro or con, really, just a matter of the way I was brought up. :B The product itself is a medium-weight balm texture, not waxy and not greasy. It's not super moisturizing but definitely not at all drying. It doesn't wander around on your face and is buildable. The color is a neutral pink brown with a reddish undertone. A very thin layer, blended with a finger, looks great to just make you look healthy (I am very fair, so someone with deeper skin tone could probably build up more and still look natural) or when applied from the tube it can be almost opaque, making it a great almost-satin lipstick. Best of all, it doesn't collect in the corners of the mouth, bleed, or pill up when reapplying. Pretty much a foolproof natural/neutral lipcolor.

More balm than lipstick
I like the formula, definitely moisturising, leaves my lips feeling full and soft. Lasts a long time even when drinking so I wasn't finding myself reapplying as often. The colour on me is pink with a slight blue undertone, trouble is it matches my lips so well I can't tell I'm wearing it. Works better with two coats to build the colour and then more of the pink purple tone comes out. Great for a nude natural look on my fair skin. Appears matte with a tiny amount of shimmer. I would definitely wear this to work. I have cheaper tinted lip balms that do the same so it seems a bit pricey and I wouldn't repurchase.

Favorite color of this line by far - and no one sells it in stores anymore! I'll keep buying off here as long as they're selling them for relatively cheap. Wish Revlon would put these back in the stores here in Ontario.

Packaged well Keeps my lips soft. Needs to be reapplied a few times during the day but I don’t mind that: Lovely neutral colour.

the colour is really pretty. It is a combination of gold, red and brown. I bought it from Cosmetixplus and the product arrived without the plastic cover though...but nothing proves that it is not new...
