Cardcaptor Sakura Collector's Edition 3 (CARDCAPTOR SAKURA COLL ED HC)

These have to be my favourite of my daughters hundreds of Manga books. The hardbacks are just stunning and there is a different card inside each number which make up a larger picture. Very happy daughter on Christmas Day to have received this to add to her collection.

Sakura is at it again with more cute outfits and more cards to capture. The art is lovely, definitely a must for those who have the others.

These editions are stunning! So excited to get more of them.

Sakura here with Kero at Kero's Corner! Actually Dani here hi everyone! Here's my review. I just got into the series just a few weeks back now. Cardcaptor Sakura is a magic girl I grew up seeing, but I never truly made the decision to sit down and watch the show til now (after years and years lol). With the first episode I got hooked and now I'm 39 episodes in! I can't get enough of this magic girl! I've made the choice to buy the manga to start from the beginning as well. I love reading so I couldn't miss out this opportunity to read it's original source! I wanted to get it's original English publish, but all the prices were sky high and it was not worth it for me personally. I came upon this collectors edition. I was worried at first due to the reviews I read from fans who owned the older mangas kept comparing it to the this new edition and how something was either off for them or pointed out how some pages were left blank. Thankfully there was one review that pointed this out and said it was an amazing book and to not compare it to its old one (it's the review that helped me buy it). I couldn't agree more! Sometimes it isn't a good thing to compare. If you truly want the older version and are comfortable to make that purchase hey go for it! :) There's no right or wrong with either one. There are different versions for this manga and not one is like the other remember that. To get back into topic I'm going to continue buying this Collectors Edition as it continues to come out. I did some research on this version and turns out Japan did this version first and there are 9 Vol.s if I'm not mistaken in total and each come inside with a cute Clow Card that flips over to a FULL manga illustration just like Japanese one! I love that little extra touch for the collectors edition very cute and very thoughtful for the fans thanks CLAMP. I really love that this edition is hardcover! It's the first time I purchase a manga that is hardcover; all the ones I own are paper just like any other manga. But this is the Collectors Edition so I personally love that choice! It will last longer, and it is much sturdier. My manga too has a few more extra pages at the end that are left blank like 7 or 4, but that doesn't bother me in the slightest. The books is brand new and as always Amazon is super quick with their shipment as a prime member. I'm very satisfied with this manga edition, and I look forward to the rest of the releases that are coming later this year and the following year. I hope that was helpful for you all!

Amazing! The cover art is super pretty and the quality is very good. I bought it as a gift for my sister who loved the show (we're both huge Cardcaptor fans). We were disappointed that the Clow card is not actually a Clow card, but just a card with one of the characters on it (which is not bad in itself, but just a let-down from what we expected). This is why I only give it 4 stars. I still think this is a great gift for Cardcaptor fans, and a nice addition to any manga collection.

The book is in a very nice condition! It had the best plastic wrap and there were only a few dents on the side which is very nice. The photo card that came with it is kinda bent but it’s an easy fix. Just put it under heavy tomes for a while and it’ll look as if the bent wasn’t there. It’s a hardbound so I love it very much. The design is just so lovely. I love CCS and seeing it in hardbound version is awesome! Also the size is bigger than normal mangas! (I uploaded a picture so you can see the difference in size) I can’t wait to collect all of them! It’s always nice to have something that reminds you of your childhood and mine is Clamp’s Cardcaptor Sakura. It’s a fun and cute and lighthearted manga.

Just love it. The only irk I had was Syaoran saying Sakura's first name...well before he actually did. Also, I wish there was more color photos. Other than that, this is perfect. <3
