External / Hang On Plastic Aquarium Fish Breeding Box Satellite L (new)

Sturdy, made to fit a ton of tanks rims shapes and sizes. Has actually thought of everything, goes together well. I literally never write reviews but this product blew my mind and thought I might leave a positive review for the first time. Everything about this product is great except the instructions are in japanese but you don't even need them as everything is obvious and intuitive when putting together.

Its about the biggest hang on breeder of any kind that I have seen. You could subdivide it into three compartments, but I wouldn't they are too small for an adult 2"to 3" fish to really be in. The day that I received this in the mail, I put a pregnant molly fish in it. The next day, I had 24 live fry, and the mother was swimming comfortably in it. I would give this a five star rating except for two faults. 1. One tiny plastic piece that locates the breeder to the tank was missing (its not critical, I have one of the two pieces and it seems alright, but for best operation you want both) and the other fault, is that when I attached my air pump to it and turned it on, the bubbles make quite a racket. But it provides plenty of aeration to the fry, and has these neat little gates so that no one gets pulled over the return water gate into the main tank. I will probably try a more powerful air pump and see if that quiets things down, or maybe take off the nozzle that directs water flow into the breeder. If I needed a second breeder tank, I'd take this over net breeders, or the suction cup breeders with no hesitation (I've tried both, and lost all or most of the fry, the net breeders rip too easily, and have other problems, and the plastic ones with suction cups the vent holes are too large for small fry). I'm only giving this product a 1 star, because it is EXACTLY the same product as the "Marina Hang-On Breeding Box, Large" B005QRDCP2I purchased both products, thinking this was the 1.5 gallon version, but it is not.....my mistake. The Marina product is $21(including shipping with my Prime act), received in 3 days. This version is $36(including shipping-not available for Prime), and it took 15 days because it comes from China. I own several Breeders/refugium HOB units. This is a Good product, it's just small...even though it's the Large version. I breed Mollies and False Percula Clowns. I was hoping to use it as a refugium HOB....which this is too small for that.

省スペースで使えるので使い勝手は◎。ただし、おとがコポコポうるさいのが✘。付属のパーツではなく、15ミリのパイプを差し込むことで問題解消。
