BASN Professional in-Ear Monitor Headphones for Singers Drummers Musicians with MMCX Connector Earphones

Disclaimer: I bought these solely to use as in-ear monitors during live music performances, and not for listening to music. I'm sure they are great for listening to music, but if that's what you're interested in, then this is probably not the review you want to read.I was initially skeptical of these earbuds because of their low price-point compared to some of the major competitors (Shure, Sennheiser, etc). However, I just used these during a gig for the first time the other week and they were great!My setup was using a Roland V-Drum electronic drum kit, with a monitor mix running directly into the drum controller. The sound in the BASN earbuds was crystal clear, and did a very nice job of suppressing most of the external sound in a loud room. Not noise canceling necessarily, but not too far off either. Because the earbuds did such a good job and minimizing external noise, I didn't have to crank them up super loud. Having primarily used traditional wedge speakers for my entire live music performance career, I could definitely tell a huge difference at the end of the night, when my ears were NOT ringing!Because I could hear myself, and the rest of the band, much more clearly than I'm used to, I felt like I was able to play more relaxed and didn't wear myself out as much as I normally do after a few hours of drumming.The earbuds were very comfortable. They stayed in pretty well, even once I began to sweat. I adjusted them 1 or 2 times during the performance, but nothing major.If there is a downside with these earbuds, it's that the suppression of external noise makes it more difficult to verbally communicate with the rest of the band during a performance. If you play in a band that likes to use verbal cues as a way to communicate during performances (which I often do), these earbuds could make that more difficult. However, the tradeoffs are well worth it.Final verdict: Great in-ears at an amazing price.

I initially had an issue with these headphones. The connection of one of the ear buds didn't connect and "click in" properly and so I eventually lost it. Since that isn't covered by Amazon, I was out headphones and the money I spent. But customer service immediately reached out and took care of the situation.So now that I have a great set of ear monitors, I was able to fully evaluate them.First, the sound is fantastic. It's crystal clear from the highs to the lows without any distortion, even when I use my amp.I was also trying out audio-technica and senheisser headphones in the $100-$200 range at the same time.These ear monitors sound as good as the Senheisser headphones (except the Senheisser has more fullness at the bottom end). But the Basn are better than the AT headphones which were tepid and ordinary.So these ear monitors are a great bang for your buck since they rival headphones that cost 3x as much and if you buy the blue tooth set, you'll have wireless capability and you can switch out and the mic set on your cell phone which are more features than either headphones for less money.The reason for the "6 star" rating is Vivian who provided excellent customer service and was a trooper even when UPS royally messed up on shipping TWICE and sent my replacement to Las Vegas instead of Los Angeles. But she kept her cool and made the third time a charm.I've tried a lot of other ear buds ranging from the most popular to brand names and they always "break" or just don't have quality sound (but what can you expect from ear buds unless they cost hundreds of dollars, right?).These BASN was a nice surprise to get quality sound at a very affordable price.So if you're shopping for great sounding buds, good features, and want to rest easy knowing there's excellent customer service, definitely put these on your list for serious consideration.

I purchased these based on the many positive reviews however, the headphones I received had no bass response whatsoever. The mid-ranges was very detailed and clear, and the highs were controlled and did not irritate me at all.I listened to multiple sources, and file qualities including high-quality reference tracks that I use to mix with all the time. I know my systems and how they behave with different source material. This pair of headphones didn't even measure up to casual listening standards.I'm not sure if this particular pair were defective or not, but the lack of any bass response from supposedly dual-driver headphones is definitely a deal-breaker for me...

I bought these for my son, since I was so impressed with my first set. Here are my son's comments: "I love these ~~!!!! " "They fit my ears very well, and the over ear flexible cable is icing on the cake. The sound quality is top notch. Comes with two cables, one with a mic. Both cables are very good quality, and should last a very long time. However, if one does fail, its an easy fix, since they plug in with an industry standard cable (shure). You cannot beat the price. I've retired my high priced headphones and use these as my go-to set." Thanks BASN !!

First thing I noticed, was how much you get. You get everything mentioned in the description. Now, I was comparing these to the Kz zst iem, which I believe we’re have the price. First thing you get way more with these headphones. And in my opinion, these sound 3 times as good as the kz zst. I tried them on my korg keyboard first, great clarity. I play bass as well, so I really needed something that would bring all the clarity from my bass head to my ears. These did just that! Under $50, I don’t believe you can beat these.

Using as in ear monitors for live full band. I play bass and the sound is clear for the price. Separation of instruments is decent vocals sound clear. I have had no major distortion at reasonable volumes. I would recommend to anybody looking for a reasonably priced set of monitors with good quality. Packaging is nice
