Le Creuset Silicone French Trivet, 8", Caribbean

Product arrived exactly as expected. White is a nice clean white; Cobalt blue trivet is not the same saturated cobalt blue as in Le Creuset stoneware. For me, the trivet color on my screen is the color received. Not having an exact match wasn't an issue for me but if that is what you are hoping for you may want to consider another color or white. I use the trivets to protect my countertop when taking hot items out of the oven or off the stovetop. Have also used the trivets under round casserole dishes when traveling with hot food. Countertop is unharmed and no injured fingers to report. The detail in the trivet is well defined and does not detract from its usefulness. I wash them in my dishwasher (toprack) occasionally and they continue to look and work like new. Great product, would buy again. ***Update 1/2017: Trivets continue to be in pristine condition despite regular use. No staining, marks, wearing thin or tears. I wash them as needed in the top rack of my dishwasher and have never had a problem. Money well spent. ***Update 11/2019: Trivets continue to be a great purchase. ZERO negatives. All purchased trivets are still in use and look new. Still running them through the dishwasher/top rack at least twice a month. I’m impressed. ***Update 6/2021: Yep, me again. For some reason I am now washing these several times a week, top rack only. No negatives. Not a one.

This trivet works well with my other Le Creuset bakers or pie dishes. It's made of a thick silicon, and cleans up very easily in the sink or dishwasher. So far, it's completely protected my countertops, and none of the blue coloring has bled through. It feels very thick and durable, and should last for years to come. Even though it's a little more expensive than some generic trivets on Amazon, it seems to be well worth the extra few dollars.

These are great little trivets and are more aesthetically pleasing than most. They are a couple bucks more than some of the more traditional trivets but well with it in my opinion. The material is very heavy duty.

Great silicone trivet, protects my counters and is thicker than most of the other similar trivets. I would have given it Five stars if it hadn't been made in China. I should have asked or researched further but when you buy a high end product like French made Le Creuset, you assume it will all be made in France. Anyhow, that aside it's a great trivet, high quality silicone and beautiful color. The color is rich and saturated and both my trivets are identical in color. (Some cheaper silicone items don't all match) I recommend it to protect your counters and it also looks elegant in my kitchen. Thanks!

I bought 6 of these Le Creuset trivets to protect my new quartz countertops. They are thick and very well made. The 8" size is big enough for hot pots. I use them for placing a hot cup of tea or coffee on it, a glass of wine etc. They are very well made, easy to hand wash and dry. Love them. Great quality - highly recommended! :-)

Love when I find something both useful and beautiful! I put it in my Sweet Creations pietaker and transport my pies, quiches and potluck dishes so that they don’t slide around and it works!!. It then serves as a beautiful display mat under my dish at the table or a buffet. And its a hot pad when you need it for that! A quick rinse off is all it ever needs - food doesn’t stick or stain. I love it!

I picked this up to go with the Le Creuset marseille color French oven. I love the star design compared to my other silicone trivets, so these will become my go-to trivets from now on. The only drawback is the color is a little more saturated than the pan, which is a gorgeous lighter blue with character. This is more standard deep blue -- it's a good color on its own, but note that if you want it to closely "color match" the pan, it won't. That said, it complements the pan color fine, so I still think 5 stars. I leave the pan on one of these all the time on counter to keep from scratching up the counters and the pan.

I love this - it’s so pretty and made of really good quality materials. I use it to protect our table and benches with hot pots and trays when I’m cooking. I’ve thrown it in the washing machine and it comes out looking good. Size works for most pots and it does a great job of protecting our table!
