You Mean the World to Me Board book – Picture Book, March 1, 2013

This is one of the sweetest books to read to your child! I buy 5-10 of them every year and give as a gift to everyone I know having a baby! Undoubtedly I get an email saying how moving the book was for them!

This book is so wonderful to read to your baby. The message is simple and beautiful. The books itself is sturdy and and a perfect size for small hands. I love this book and highly recommend it!

The sentiment is beautiful and simply put. perfect for the little ones. love the thick, sturdy pages and the colorful pictures. i initially bought one for my daughters and then came back to amazon and purchased a few more for my nieces and nephews. a great birthday gift!

My daughter always picks this one first out of all of her books. It's great because she means the world to me!!! This book is so sweet. You'll love it and your kids will love it even more.

I was looking for a mother-toddler relationship book that represented the mom as a teacher or sharer of knowledge.... because I am a teacher through and through. This was the only book that I found that even came close to that description. The mom teaches her son how to garden, their right from left, fly a kite, create crafts, play music, build towers, imagine, and dance. The book also includes drawings of the mom teaching how to read and the ABCs, mom waking the toddler in the morning, mom putting the toddler to bed, mom tickling her toddler, and mom giving hugs.Overall the book is cute and I really like the drawings... but the book is not exactly perfect. The first page which declares "we will always be with each other." This is a promise that no parent can keep. Kids go to school, stay with a babysitter, grow up and move out, and the truth is at any point a parent can die in a car accident etc..... Therefore I don't like making such false promises to kids. it sets up a wrong expectation of life. I would have preferred if this first page was removed from the book. I also do not really connect to the statement "you mean the world to me." It would not bother me so much, except that the statement is repeated four times in the book and is the reason given for everything the mother does. I would have MUCH preferred the statement "because I love you." Love after all is an emotion that drives one into action... to do what is in the best interest of those they love.

A really sweet book for everyone to enjoy.I got this for my Mom for Mother's Day this year and it was a perfect little gift to send over to her.Highly recommended.

This is our go to baby shower gift book. Such a sweet message.
