Good Directions Racing Sloop Weathervane, Pure Copper with Brass Sails (24 inch), Boat, Wind Vane

Great great great, That said did not turn freely had to grind down in side steel rod a few thousands to free up rotation.

The Ship is very nice, but the separate pieces and rigging is glued together with what appears to be something like JB Weld, not brazed or soldered together as I would expect on an all-metal windvane. One of the pieces of rigging simply fell off due to bad adhesion. Hopefully the ship will hold together for a while, and I expect I'll need to repair over time. The Shaft Collar that supports the lower ball was very flimsy and cracked where the set screw was drilled thru. I replaced with a proper shaft collar from a hardware store.

We absolutely love this weather vane that we chose for our beautiful new dock! Along with the coupla it really adds the icing on the cake! Couldn’t be more pleased!!

One bent rudder and one broken part to the sail! What bad workmanship and shipment packing! Our dock builder needs this to finish our cupola and it's broken. I was so excited to receive and now totally disappointed. Get it together Good Directions!
