Happy boy with the new toy.
The media could not be loaded. I never think I need a camcorder because my kids are always using my iPhone to take footage; however, during 3-day camping, I found my iPhone doesn't have enough space to save videos and is not able to use additional memory card. Not to mention, there was not cellular reception there; I found this camcorder may meet my requirement which are1. Good price to have it for kids2. Not 4K due to storage issue3. great reaction under strong sun light4. light weigh and packet size.5. can accept at least 128GB Mini SD card.; however some obvious drawbacks here.1. not 4k2. LCD resolution is too low3. focus mode doesn't provide indication on screen.4. doesn't have wireless remote control by phone. (my dash cams have this function)5. no lens cap...bottom line, I might not regret to buy my kids this camcorder and time will see.

It does the job
I needed this computer to be able to down grade the quality for the Edtpa and one of the only recorders that I could find that does it without breaking the bank.

Go for a better quality camera, it may be more expensive, but it is worth it.
There are several reasons I would caution against buying the camera:1. The quality isn't too good. Even though the quality is better when viewed from a computer, it is still shaky at best.2. After a month of use, my zoom out function broke3. You cannot connect an external mic - the camera's mic is the best you got4. Auto-focus doesn't really do much. Even when close or far from an object, I can't seem to even read words on a screen.5. The webcam feature doesn't even really work. I tried to get this to work on Windows 10 with little success. It always told me "Driver not available".6. While using the webcam function while it is attached to the computer, it would occasionally shock me when I touch the metal zoom function.Overall: Save yourself $63 and buy a camera that will last you a long time.

Okay camera but not advertised on what your really getting.
Not good hd. Maybe for fun trips but that's it. Not if your trying to produce any quality film.

Terrible Video Quality
The video quality is really terrible. It seems like it is upsampling a tiny video. It looks like a webcam from the 90's, especially indoors. But worse than that, if you're taking a long video, it will actually cut your video into multiple video files which then deletes about 4 seconds of video footage inbetween auto cuts. I used it for an interview and it ruined the interview footage. I highly do not recommend this camera.

Easy to use and great for daily video blogs
This was a perfect buy for the money. I do video blogging and I was attracted by the ease of use, compact size and carry case. The quality of the videos are 1080p. If you want better night vision, I suggest you use an attachable light. The next piece of equipment on my list. Good if you are looking for in home and regular blog usage. Hook up is simple. Comes with battery and memory card.

Surprising! Decent little camcorder
I bought this to use as a second camera for shooting video for my (upcoming) you tube channel, as well as videos for my work website. I really wasn't expecting much, but it worked for my needs. I noticed far more expensive cameras that look EXACTLY like this camera, all the same buttons and access ports in all the same places. I will be editing video soon (waiting for the software to arrive) and will update the review if my opinion changes.

Great picture quality. Battery life kinda sucks but having 2 batteries makes up for that.
