A beeswax supporter-This product is a natural real deal for environmentally conscious people”
As a passionate scuba diver I travel place to place and believe me, I see plastic wraps in the most unthinkable and most beautiful places (that’s sad). This trend that has only increased in the last 10 years and it shocked me at the point that I said “I cannot change the world but I will do the best to reduce my impact on it…at least” That’s why it is about 4-5 years now that I have been using beeswax wraps and that was the best choice for my family. By switching to these particular wraps, it helped us to reduce the consumption of plastic that at the end goes somehow into nature and to reduce our expenses in terms of wrapping solutions since the wraps can be reused multiple times (not for every food like meat or fish, but in a year we save up to 4 aluminum and 3 plastic rolls overall…not bad!).Ok, let’s start from the beginning here. First of all, let me tell the story of the beeswax wraps ...”the beeswax wraps cannot have been invented recently since my grandma used them for bread (old versions but still beeswax wraps) and since I am in my mid- 40s I am talking at least of 30 years ago when for the first time I saw my grandma wrapping a homemade bread in this cotton cloth with beeswax…(never thought that they would be a big hit one day).Anyway, although I am not sure who really invented the beeswax wraps at the end of the day since they have been around from quite some time. With that being said, let’s talk of the PROS and CONS of them:I have used about 7-8 different brands all these years… from top competitors to newbies to the market (I will not mention names for respect but you can see them pretty much everywhere) and when I found out of this last one through friends and used it, I decided it was time to compare all them which yielded very interesting results from a customer point of view since the good stuff is always the simplest one.(These wraps) Pro:· They are what they advertise; very different from other sellers because the majority has 3 ingredients while these have 4 ingredients making a big difference in terms of longevity and scent. I love this new formula because you can feel and smell the difference compared to other products; quality does not lie, although is not for everybody.· Yes, they are very clingy, no joke...which is also what they are supposed to do …right??? They stick and get the job done since they are made with real beeswax and not just pine tree resin. Yes they are little sticky and you may need to wash your hands but…hey am I looking for a “beeswax wrap” or just a piece of “cloth”? Come on. I tried the ones with the string and button…well if we think that to make a wood button they need to cut down a tree, that’s not really helping the world; while using a string…???? For what??? Am I buying an auto sealing wrap or just a piece of garment??? You got my points here…I want something that works by itself and this product worth my money, PERIOD. No more wasting time using strings and buttons for me, I am tired of marketing tricks…and I don’t even want to go ahead with these childish patterns…let’s get the real deal here.· These wraps have a scent that is just wonderful, natural and does not get on the food…unless you need to know that my grandma before wrapping things in an “ancient type of beeswax wrap” used to first wrap it in some kind of paper (I don’t remember exactly which one) and after in the beeswax wrap…you should do the same…I mean it is normal that at direct contact with food some of the scent may get on the food…but what does not??? My Saran wrap at contact with food gives it a plastic smell with time.· I also noticed that they are made in the US and that’s a plus for me since I am happy to support local businesses. My favorite bagel guy and his family do not really make the best bagels in town but they work hard to make them and listen to us as clients and that makes me love the spirit and courage of local family businesses.Cons:This product is a high quality product and therefore is not for everybody because, it is a real natural product…Yes you heard me…it is like the difference between organic milk and regular or the natural grass fed meat and the one that you get everywhere.Big Corporation got us used to plain flavors and scents far from what nature makes and of course those are not real…at the end of the story they make us think that the their fake flavors and scents are real and the natural ones are not…that’s deceiving. This beeswax wraps are like grass fed meat (real) and you need to go back in touch with nature to appreciate them otherwise you will not understand them at all…probably some people will not like them…that’s normal…but if you make the effort to taste and smell the real deal you will be surprised how real and enjoyable they are…Start to use natural products and your life will change in better… I bet you. After this lengthy review (I guess I wrote it because these beeswax wraps remind me of my grandma’s beeswax wraps), I can only say that this small business called Quo Décor seems like a cool little American family run business with a great product and potential. “My friends and I love this product and we are spreading around the voice to families and friends because good-will and results like yours, deserve it and we believe that other environmental conscious people like us will support you.”Good job guys! Thanks and keep up the good workA scuba diver, its fellows and the world’s seas

Good substitute for plastic wrap, reusable.
Great idea to eliminate plastic wrap for refrigerator or cabinet storage. Just have to remember not to use warm water or soap to clean them. Cool water is all that’s needed.

The only real NATURAL Beeswax wrap that I found on Amazon! Works great!
These wraps work great and I love their natural scent which remembers me my country summer garden, (unless you need a nose surgery you cannot say anything bad about it) really a nice real natural product!I am a foodie and always exploring better and more natural food storage methods/Technics for my food. Therefore, I decided to give these wraps a try, I wrapped veggies, covered bowls of left over etc. Also, I need to mention that I used one of the tips suggested in the instructions (wrap cheese at first in paper and after the wraps... if I am correct...) for storing my preferred cheese (I tried with hard cheese)...double wrapped with the wraps and closing in my cheese box, I thought was a simple very good idea and payed back.I was able to keep the cheese fresh longer, without molds, in addition did not take on the beeswax scent because was wrapped in paper first, I guess) while, before with the plastic bag/wrap the same cheese was always humid, smelling like plastic wrap and molds used to grow fast. Anyway, without being too technical, it was a fantastic result for me, I could not be happier than that; now I use these wraps in multiple occasions with positive results. May be, the only thing (but no a deal breaker) is that I have to wash my hands sometime but it's a beeswax wrap and actually this is the way a person knows that has a real natural product in her hands...that's how it should be...I can't believe people writing negative reviews on this product...WOW my eyes popped out reading that controversial no sense...I was laughing LOL...they really cannot differentiate a natural well crafted product from all those low quality around or...there are still people around so silly that don't even know how to wrap food mhmmmm ...(probably are fake negative reviews from competitors). My experience was more than positive and I'm suggesting it to family and friends. Excellent natural product, hands down.

Love this stuff, so much better than Saran wrap!
Purchased this not knowing what to expect. So far I've only used it to cover open cans in the fridge, and bowls of leftover food. So far I love how well this works, and how easily it washes up for re-use. This package comes with multiple sheets of various sizes, two of which are huge. The are folded such that cutting them along crease marks is very easy to get a size that is perfect for your needs (i.e. covering the top of an open can). This is a great product, easy to use and clean for re-use. So MUCH better than Saran wrap and easier than Saran wrap! I LOVE that I can use this over and over again!

Won’t last as long as others, still worthwhile
Had they been my first I would give the 4 or 5 stars. Beeswax wraps are worth it if you need to store left over produce, especially leafy greens. However, they are not as thick as the last set. That means they don’t stick as well and they likely won’t last as long. That isn’t to say they don’t stick. I will likely look for others and use these for items that don’t need to be stored so long such as citrus and lettuce. I have not noticed a smell.

A PRACTICAL ALTERNATIVE TO PLASTIC WRAP
I wasn't sure what to expect but was ready to try an alternative to plastic. This particular package of 6 was the best value for the $ compared to competitors. Also liked natural, no print, material.Sticks to bowls or itself (if wrapping food directly) without the over clingingness of plastic wrap. No odor at all. Easy to rinse off & let air dry. Primarily, I like not adding more plastic in the waste cycle.Email follow up re: satisfaction from small family business is a nice touch.
