Snugg iPhone 5 Case Cover Ultra Thin Skin Case (Sky Blue) - Ultra Slim Profile, Non Slip Material, Protective, Soft to the Touch for the new iPhone

I ordered this for my wife. My first review was 3 stars with the following write-up: "Although "new" out of the box, this item had mutiple scratches, a greasy smudge, and the clarity of the plastic was poor. When placed on the phone the fit was good, so barring the damage encountered, it may be OK. Returned the next day due to condition."I was contacted by Matt from Snugg very quickly. He apologized for the condition of the item and sent a replacement at no charge. FANTASTIC customer service, and an improved rating to 4 stars based on that. When the new case arrived, it also had scratches/smudges on it. It is a clear case, and with normal use will get scratched and smudged. My wife is using it and is happy with the slim profile and fit on her new iPhone 5s. That said, I am still unsure how these items get beat up before they are ever used. We appreciate Snugg's quick response and willingness to provide a free replacement. I do recommend that Snugg look into why the items have been arriving in a condition that is less than "clear" when it is a clear case.

Update: The manufacturer reached out to me after my initial review and advised that if it cracked, that it was a defective product. They sent me a new case without me having to request it or pay for shipping. I have used the new case for several weeks now, and I have had no issues, and the case is in great shape with no appearance of a crack. It is a very good case that provides the right amount of protection without adding too much bulk. I am very happy with the manufacturer and can't say enough positive about how they handled the situation.Original review:This case fit my iPhone 5 perfectly and I really liked how thin it was. One corner chipped within a week (and I'm very careful with my phone). It snagged on my pants pocket for about another week until I had enough and had to toss it. I wouldn't buy this again due to the poor quality; however, if the quality was better, I did like the fit and finish.

Don't let my less than glowing review dissuade you from buying this case. If you are looking for a quality rigid case that will not cling to fabric, then this may be the perfect case for you.I was looking for a non-slip case so that the phone would not slide out of my shirt pocket when I bend over. From the description, this case seemed to fit the bill.The case is marginally "non-slip" and is not "soft to the touch" as described. An iphone with no case is very slippery, and a soft silicone rubber case is as non-skid as you can get. This case is half way in between.Anther annoyance is the company logo "Snugg" embossed on the back. Be sure to look at all of the pictures and you will see the logo. The embossing is quite high and further adds to the slipperiness if you place the phone on a hard surface. I seldom purchase items with obvious logos on them, especially for something as nondescript as a cell phone case!On the positive side....This is a fairly rigid case with a flat black finish, it fits the phone nicely and should protect the back and edges. The quality is good and I would keep it if it weren't for the logo and the fact that I need a true non-slip case.

I accidentally left my Splash Zero Ultra Slim Polycarbonate case in a rental car and needed a replacement. The Splash had doubled in price on Amazon since I first bought it, so I took a chance on the Snugg iPhone 5 case which looked the same. I'm glad I did as they are almost identical.If you're looking to protect your phone from drops or a particularly harsh use environment, this case may not be for you. The primary purpose of this one is to prevent scratches and minor damage to the finish, both front and back while being as unobtrusive as possible. It is still large enough that with many automotive holders the phone will need to be removed from the case, which is how I inadvertently left the case in a rental car on a recent trip. This isn't an issue for me, but you should be aware of it in case it's a problem for you.Unlike the Splash iPhone case, whose edges felt a bit sharp to me, this one is softer to the touch and the edges are rounded, so the phone is more comfortable to hold. The edges of this case are slightly (and I do mean slightly) higher than the front surface of the phone, meaning that if you place the phone face down, the suface is protected because it will rest on the case and not the glass.While I would have re-purchased the Splash case if it hadn't increased in price, the Snugg case is an excellent alternative and a much less expensive. It's an excellent case for the iPhone 5 that preserves it's sleek look while protecting it from scratches and minor abuse and feels good in my hand.

Was hoping I picked the best Iphone 5 case. Reputable company, makes great cases. This one is nice, but no where near what I was hoping for. On the left side they leave out space for the volume etc. Great, right? Yes, but at the top left corner it just will not snap into place, therefore not securely locked in. It is bearable now, but that is a new case that already comes off at the corner, I can only imagine months from now. That is kind of a deal breaker. One small gripe, they have their name on the back of the case, but not just engraved, its raised, kind of high at that. Just feels out of place, and when laid on its back that small corner is raised. Small gripe but if history serves correct putting expensive electronics that has the possibility of having pressure put on it, I would rather it be evenly distributed. Think of laying a sheet of glass on a table and then just putting a couple credit cards under one corner. Come on Snugg.Going to up it from one star to three. It is holding up way better than I thought, far from perfect but will do until I find something better.

Very slim & thin indeed. Also it is light so it doesn't add weight to your phone. I should last until your phone is outdated. Mine started to chip off on the edges after a few years and also slightly the joint edges are coming apart. Don't let this draw back stop you from buying the case as the lifespan of the case is worth it.

It's a plastic matte slim case. Fits my Iphone 5s well. No complaints.

Perfect fit and true to colour

It didn't look like it was brand new, there was scuff marks and scratches on back of case even the packaging seemed like it had been opened. And bit of a tight fit for my iphone 5s even though it's supposed to be designed for.

This is an okay case but shortly after I got it the white sides started to dis colour otherwise the product is ok
