Comfortable and excellent sound quality. Better than H2O Audio headphones.
Prior to purchasing these Pyle headphones, I purchased the "H2O Audio Surge Sportwrap Waterproof Sport Headphones". Those needed to be adjusted very carefully in order to be able to hear anything, and needed frequent readjustment while swimming. Then, within a few uses, the left earbud started cutting in and out. Even after it was dry, and with me just standing, it would work, then stop working. I checked the headphone jack connection, and it was solid. The H2O model was also very uncomfortable. The first things I noticed about the Pyle Marine Sport headphones were a) comfort and b) sound quality. These are far more comfortable than the H2O model. I barely notice that they are in my ears. The Pyle headphones also deliver much clearer sound, and the sound can turn up to a higher volume. The H2O headphones would start breaking up when I turned my iPod Shuffle up to max, and yet I could still barely hear while swimming. With the Pyle headphones, I keep the volume much lower on my iPod, but the actual sound I hear is louder than with the H2O model and it stays clear. Here are a couple tips for using these Pyle headphones:1. I tuck the curved ear clip under my goggle strap so that the goggle strap keeps it from flopping around. This helps the earbuds to stay in my ears while swimming.2. The H2O headphones had a special connector designed for the "H2O Audio iS2 Waterproof Case and Sport Armband For iPod Shuffle" headphone jack. The Pyle model came with a standard connector. After plugging the Pyle connector into the headphone jack, I lit a candle and poured melted wax into the headphone jack cup to seal it. I don't know for certain that this was necessary, but it created a nice seal. The one downside to this Pyle model versus the H2O model is that the H2O model has a coiled wire, which kept it out of the way. The wire on the Pyle model sometimes catches on my arm while I am swimming, but this happens infrequently enough that it isn't really a problem. It is still much less of a problem than needing to stop every few laps to readjust the earbuds because the seal had broken, which happened a lot with the H2O model.

These are okay
Not the best. Not the worse. I guess they are okay for the cost. They keep falling out of my ear (tried different ear attachments) and the sound goes in and out when you are swimming

These worked well for my swim workouts!
I had previously tried a more expensive pair of waterproof headphones, but found I couldn't get them to stay in my ear for more than a couple strokes. The other ones didn't have the little tree-shaped rubber ear buds, and I think that was the problem. Everyone's ear canal is shaped/sized a little differently, but this set includes 3 sizes of tree-shaped, and one of the normal little bud shaped ones. Turns out I needed the smallest size to actually get a good fit, which is probably why the other set didn't work for me. Hooking over the ear with the hard plastic piece was also a great touch. While that came out from behind my ear after a couple laps (I think my ears are about average for sticking out from my head, but if yours are tight to your head you'd probably be fine), I could easily tuck that under my swim cap and/or goggles. (People have talked about tucking the whole thing under with other types of headphones, but my swim cap definitely won't stay THAT far down over my ear for a whole workout).I swam for an hour doing mostly crawl with flip turns. I had to readjust the left one once, but that was it! They were very comfortable! I didn't even notice that they were there after a short time. The sound was really incredible. I was thinking that it was so loud when I swim (bubbles and all), that I wouldn't be able to hear anything over that, but it's really crystal clear. It's not bad at all when you're out of the water but the sound gets very pure when you're under. When I bought they were about $10 and I took a chance. Best $10 so far! Only caveat with this review is that I've only used them once, but if I have any problems, you can be sure I'll update this review. (Feel free to leave a comment and ask questions though).

Poor fit and bad for swimming
I bought these to go with my waterproof ipod shuffle for swimming. I messed with them for about 4 sessions at the pool (trying all the different ear piece sizes) and then ended up switching them out for speedo brand. I think these would be fine if you need them for waterproof music and not for swimming. The problem with these (other than the poor fit for my ears) is the excess cords and that the over the ear pieces are not really adjustable. I would try to tuck the cord excess in my goggles or swim cap, but it would always end up falling down and usually make the earpiece come out of my ear mid-stroke. There is nothing more annoying than stopping half-way down the pool to put the thing back in your ear. Or the little ear pieces (made for different size ear canals) would come off in the pool. The over the ear part was also a nuisance because it was a bit bulky and would simply not stay close to my ear...I even tried (with no luck) to use my goggle strap to hold it down. And to make matters worse, once the things fell out of my ears and got water down in them, it would distort or muffle the sound...I would have to stop and kind of flick them to get the sound to return to normal. Simply put these were more of a headache than anything. They might work better for someone else's ears, but the cord length would still be in the way. I recommend the speedo waterproof aqua beta brand instead!
