Billie B. Brown collection, perfect for a girl. Short chapter books. Each book is 4 chapters long. Daughter loved this series. Perfect for the girl who is scared to move from reading picture books to chapter books. Great transitional series. It does have a few black and white pictures. I, the Mom, liked them because the girl was not snotty to her parents or authoritative figures. Nice wholesome stories. If you have a boy, I would suggest the Hey Jack books by the same author and told from the boy perspective. Jack and Billie B. Brown are friends. Each book is around AR Accelerated Reader level 2.5.

Purchased for my niece. She loved them.Everyone. It is a series that she loves them .

Fantastic books. My daughter tore through these; she could not put them down. Each one has an interesting plot, with ups and downs and emotions and twists, but unlike many other chapter books for this age, the main character is sweet and likable rather than obnoxious or mean. I just wish this collection included all rather than most of the books in the series!

Great for my first grader! The chapter length is short and large print make it easy for her to read.

There are several book series that make young girls really disrespectful to adults, but Billie B is not one of them. She is a good role model who learns life lessons in innocent ways.

The books are great and my 6yo daughter absolutely loves reading them. However, this is no box set. All of the books just came stacked in a small Amazon box. It’s not a big deal but just be aware that there is no “box set” that the books come in
