Usually, paying this price would get you particle board furniture, but this was all wooden and very beautiful. I was really worried that they would arrive with scratches from the shipping, but the packaging was so secure that I would never worry about products from whoever manufacturers these.The instructions were very clear and everything went in perfectly. There is no way to screw a nail through to the other side unless you did not read the instructions and grabbed the wrong size screw. One thing to note is that for me, a hand drill was definitely needed; it's easy to screw a screw into particle board, but not into real wood. I had a little trouble with putting together the second one, so a tip for future buyers - If the screw will not screw in and causes your drill/hand problems, unscrew it, take apart that section, and screw the nail directly into the wood to make a hole, then take it out and put back the connecting piece and try again.

We are very happy with these end tables. They look good and are easy to assemble. I've seen plenty of reviews complaining about holes not being pre-drilled and cheap hardware, but I had the whole thing assembled in about 10 minutes and have zero complaints. I do recommend using a cordless driver on a very low torque setting, but a manual screwdriver would do fine. It's solid wood, but the wood is very soft.For what I paid for these, I am very happy. I expect, with a little care, they'll last long enough to go out of fashion.

our first one was delivered with some damage (scratch and gouge on table top); but they were quick to send a new one and the new one is nice. It is sturdy; easy to put together; the right color and size for us as a livingroom end table. The only complaint would be (very minor) is a slight wobble that appears one leg is a tab shorter. Some reviews stated that the screws were the wrong size. We noticed that the screws are different sizes, so if you are careful to follow the instructions, none of the screws are the wrong size. Make sure to use each one in the correct place. overall we are pleased with our purchase and feel it a good value for the price

Nice end table not too big, not too small. The color is just like on the product pictures. I like the shelf under the table, it is perfect to store my knitting basket. It was 10 min the assembly. Packing was professional. Good value, too.

I needed a stand for a Brother color LaserJet printer that is several years old. The top of this table was just the right size to fit the printer without being any bigger than necessary. It fits that purpose well enough.Assembly is uncomplicated, but many of the screws need to go into an undrilled spot, so either get out your drill or use an appropriate amount of effort to let the self-drilling screws do their thing. I opted to just do it by hand. It took a bit longer than I would have liked. The biggest problem I had is that one of the side pieces (that comes preassembled) was assembled in such a way that there is a gap that shows the dowels and the screws. It's not a great look. Anyway, since this is in the corner of the basement behind an exercise bike it won't really be seen, but it's unsightly enough to get a 3 star review.

I am soo soo happy with this purchase! I am always nervous about buying furniture online, but we currently live outside the US and options are few and far between. I took a chance on two of these side tables because I felt the price was to good to pass up and I am very glad I did! They look like expensive, high end, wood side tables and yet they are so inexpensive in comparisson. I will say the assembly was not a breeze, as some of the screws/holes are not alligned very well or sized correctly, however, once assembled the hassle is worth it. They look great in my home and love them, so I would definitely purchase them again!

Prefect for a small livingroom. Brought two for my mom and she loves the stain. It was easy to put together, however the screws are a bit cheap, they stripped easily. Not a problem because extra screws are provided in the package. Not bad for a $40 end-table.

I should have read the reviews before ordering, but it does seem hit or miss. My experience was definitely a miss. The first one sent had a crack on the top piece so I got it packed up and returned it. (I was very happy with the speed of getting another one. I started the return on Friday and received the replacement on Sunday).The second one came and screw holes didn't line up and they are cheap screws. Also, there are stickers to identify parts,which are really not needed because there are only 6 pieces. One sticker peeled off nicely, but the next two left a visible, sticky residue. I was not about to try to get it off because if I ruined the finish. I knew I wouldn't be able to return it. I packed it back up and will return it but not ask for a replacement.

This table was exactly as ordered. Easy to put together and has a rich colour.
