Useful addition to the camera
I'm 'old school' in camera work and was taught in the 1970s on a degree level graphic arts course in the use of 35mm and 2 1/4 square film cameras and darkroom craft. And that's what I've stuck to. So I needed some help to bring me into the 21st century and the digital camera world. This has been an invaluable book to help me set up the camera and the author usefully gives optimum settings for most of the basic set up. He is pragmatic in his approach too, so that's helpful. It's not perfect - in the printed version (which I have), I can see hyper links that can be linked to web references but those are a pain to dig out manually as they are listed at the end of the book. It is though, still a really useful addition to the camera and has helped me get significantly better results.

X-pert indeed.
Another excellent book by multi-lingual writer and photographer Rico Pfirstinger. Clear, well-organised, always friendly and a pleasure to read.

Great source of information.
This book is great vale for money. It contains some very useful tips, and make a goos supplement to the manual.
