Inner can be a challenge to pop on to steering rack, but fit is fine. A hair dryer and a dab of grease helps.Note: comes with Oetiker style clamps. If you don't have a crimper for them, Tile "nippers" or end-cutting pliers will crimp them.

Fit my mk4 Jetta (diesel, stick) as expected. Supplied clamps are nice, though require the use of specific pliers for correct fitment. Several thousand miles and looks good, only complaint is that the inner side of the boot was an extremely tight fit on the steering rack. Well sealed once on, but a bear to install.

Product was fine, installation was very difficult because of the location of the steering rack!

I recently did a suspension refresh on my 2003 VW. These boots are an exact replacement and include the dog ear clamps.

Amazon said this would fit my car, it does not. Didnt know until i already had the old boot off, and the new inner tie rod attached. Had to cut it up to fit it on, clamp was useless and couldnt hold the boot on. Slid off within the 5 mile drive back home. Ended up buying new boots from rockauto, which fit perfectly.

This product is so bad that it couldn’t be used. Thin brittle plastic instead of durable thick auto grade rubber. A disappointment that isn’t worth the plastic bag it came in. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!
